Kindly don't abuse the concourse bar staff.

Rebukes are fine if justified but is it prevalent ?

Has anyone on here seen anything that would justify highlighting it

In 40+ years I can't recall one such incident

I know Steve well but to be honest i don't get this and without context it's pointless

And why on here and not on the website or signs in the ground ?

Just comes across as the Club lecturing and not for the first time

I think it's the way the OP is written that's annoying people, making out there is some massive problem

Like Tim said I've spent time in all three stands this season and haven't seen any sort of abuse

You occasionally get people pushing in or moaning about service or the bottle top nonsense

But abuse

Really?

If there is a problem tell us what it is for God's sake instead of making out there is a massive bullying campaign going on against the kiosk staff

Well as I said earlier in the thread, I have seen people verbally abused because pies ran out.
Not the end of the world but also not acceptable.reme
For Phils benefit, I can't remember the date and I didn't get the name of the abuser or the abused.

The fact is some supporters are clearly being twats and that shouldn’t be ok.

I only had one of mine today but if I have all 4 and they all get a drink with no top on I feel like an extra from Charlie Cairolies circus at half time

Could you not just upgrade and avoid these problems?

I don't know either of you personally but I would be prepared to believe you're honest and decent people. As such I am prepared to take the SLO at his word and would expect you to do the same. If I am remiss I am prepared to apologise.

I just feel like if it's shite service then who are you gonna have a go at?

The catering manager? No. They're not there.

The people running the club? No. They're not there!

Muggins on the front till gets it because they're the face that you get to deal with.

Maybe the club should take this "abuse" and use it as a reason to see that they need to vastly improve the conditions throughout our concourse.

I don’t think anyone is entitled to a full dossier of what exactly was said or what happened.

Someone has obviously raised something, nobody has been charged with anything there’s just been a reminder not to be a nobhead.

I don’t see the problem.

It's been flagged up, no names are mentioned and its a reminder for people to treat other people just doing their job with a bit of respect. Surely the default reaction is to agree with that? Or am I missing something?

There is nothing on the official site so I'm guessing it's just a storm in a tea cup however the OP doesn't read that way

And to be honest it's not the first time the SLO has used this platform to have a pop at fellow fans

So I will ask again what happened?

Surely if we know what the issues are then maybe it can be self policed to stop any future problems

It says a number of incidents and abusive or aggressive behaviour towards staff. Is that not enough?

Bear in mind that if individual incidents were disclosed that could identify who has raised the issues and could lead to them getting more grief. The club has a responsibility to protect its staff and that takes priority over you needing to know every little detail.

The problem with this announcement on avftt is it's unlikely to be people on here is it.

If there was a small minority doing it then the message should reach them.

Afaik no message has been put anywhere else? So the small number of offenders won't see this anyway.

Depends.

I've politely complained about shit service before and been asked to leave a premises.
(Edit: not the club concourse somewhere totally different!)

We don't know the full story of the "abuse".

One person's aggressive is another persons complaint coz they've just ran out of shit pies (AGAIN) and I've been in the queue for 20 minutes and I've already missed the start of the 2nd half 🤷

The club can stick a couple of the big lads from New Concept at the end of each que on the stands that are getting the abuse.

When one of these Jeremy Kyle rejects, doesn't say 'please' and 'thank you' at least 3 times.....
Crusher & Big Dave can give them a sharp kick in the gonads with their doc martins
Maybe when these short arsed little dickheads understand the meaning of 'customer service' they will stop acting like a prick.

Want your pie served with a smile......Try being nice
Want your pint delivered quickly........It doesn't happen in any pub, so why is it different at Bloomfield road
Want you want to abuse somebody doing their job......Have a word with Crusher & Big Dave and see if your a big man then....?

And why would you want to know what went on?.......guilty conscious?

Nah not me I just think it's a strange thing to post on this site when it's not been posted on the club website or any other social media

And the fact that there is no context to the allegation or allegations doesn't really make sense to me either
