that happened to me once….. stepped on the hatched area, pint in hand and alarms going off, search lights and 2 stewards came from no where and gave me a right bollocking!

if only our midfield were as switched on?

In good faith and in your role as SLO, you make a polite request to respect our staff (why would they make up stories of mistreatment?), who are there to earn a basic wage & to serve our supporters.
The majority on here read your request and accept it the spirit it is intended, & quite rightly think "that could be my family member" etc. Unfortunately one or two immediately seek an argument, whilst one or two choose to insult you - that I find to be unbelievable!
From what I've observed, and from our limited contact, you do your unenviable job very well & many others think the same.
Good luck trying to find a "silly high viz jacket" 🤣

If you personally aren’t abusing the staff it won’t cause you any problems, so why you getting so pissed about it. Anyone in any walk of life should be able to go to work without facing abuse, profanities or threats of violence. As Patrick Swayze’s character said in Roadhouse, be nice.

I hope you clicked your fingers brusquely and then just pointed at the pie in disgust with a withering look of discontent and confusion at how anyone could see fit to serve such muck and were then plied with Armagnac by the staff in an attempt to placate you.

I've got so carried away with this daft conceit about the lounges, I can only imagine you all wearing top hats and having your horses taken to the stables by skivies, your coats collected and placed in a cloakroom whilst piano music plays gently and a waistcoated barman greets you with 'Ah, Mr Fielding. Your usual sir?'
 
I've mentioned this a few times already but the line for pre paid collection causes arguments. The staff actively encourage people who haven't pre ordered to use that line and it causes friction with the people who have. I've seen that frustration taken out on the staff but nothing changes. It was brought up at the last dialogue meeting and it was promised this issue would be resolved for the next game, surprisingly nothing was done.

Then when we do hear from him - it’s usually some off piste stuff that has nothing to do with fan engagement and issues at the club relating to fans. The update about that one woman football show was frankly ridiculous and complete mission overeach.

Even this message was left open to ridicule, the concourses are clearly run poorly, is there any update on why this is? What we can expect next season, bear with us sort of stuff?

When I get asked fair and pressing questions I attempt to get answers and feed them back to those who've asked them. I never post 'off piste' stuff. I've no idea where that came from. The one-woman football show was put on at the football club, sponsored by a Blackpool fans' group and I publicised it in my role as liaison officer for anyone who might want to know about it.
 
Can I just say the pre order bar is completely and utterly pointless, I pre order on the machine before the game for beers at half time I then went down at half time and the queue to collect was longer than the queue to just queue up and buy a beer it’s absolutely pathetic the concourse and staff are proper shit and something needs to be sorted out I spent 12 quid pre ordering beers and never collected them because I’d have had to miss the second half ridiculous.

Let's be clear the OP was just a generalised comment with no specifics or context to the allegations

What kiosk was it? When did it happen? What was said? Was there any punishment? Was anybody hurt? Did the stewards or police get called? Etc etc etc

Reading the OP it reads like it's common for this sort of thing and I'm sure it isn't

I've fed similar reports back and the Club is aware of the issue. I agree something needs sorting. One for SD meeting.

Frustrating I want to spend money and I’m sure hundreds of others do but it’s so painful they must be losing so much money, those rapid fill machine where they fill the beer from the bottom in about 2 second need to be installed along with loads more tills and more staff. Half time in the north is chaos.

and in a way even replying to this does you no favours.

Even if you think this or other posts or replies are insulting as the SLO you need to rise above it instead of clapping back with snide remarks about ‘not knowing where this comes from’ or ‘what a strange comment’ as a rep of the club you cannot really say that stuff to the supporters you’re liaising with, no matter how bad you think they are. It does you no favours.

Again, I think I asked a decent question about why the staff might stick, me or anyone else on this thread raising valid points and trying to help you and the club by pointing this out don’t even get a holding reply of ‘thanks for your input, the kiosk work is difficult and with the infrastructure we have it compounds this. The club are working on some solutions and we’ll have an update to you at the end of the season for a roll out at the start of next season’
