Why for asking what's been happening after the SLO has decided to post vague details on a fans forum

If someone is throwing accusations around about fellow fans than surely there should be a bit more context towards it

It sounds like a very serious ongoing issue yet the details of various incidents are very vague

Have you ever met him?Well I have several times walking to the ground and like you I travel a good distance ( not as far as you perhaps but still a 120 mile round trip) so like to get there early to park up and wander off to the prom( not the pub or AC as I am driving) so note he gets there early to do his role.A nicer man you couldn’t meet so it’s rubbish to suggest he has a pop at fellow fans.We all know your love of BFC but you are far from alone on that but you never come across as anything but aggressive on here and as for a pop at fellow fans ( ok fan) well unlike SLO I just have😉

It’s not fellow fans it’s employees, there’s a massive difference.

You’re just being a dick because you don’t like the SLO.

It’s not vague detail though is it.

People being abusive to club staff. A reminder that it isn’t acceptable.

You don’t need anymore detail. It’s simple.
 
It was a really polite message.....placed on a website that is read by a large majority of Blackpool supporters......Perfect for the SLO
Why does anyone need, actual details before basic manners kick in or the ability to understand that someone is just asking for a little thought?

So maybe when the SLO uses this site to pass on info again......Just stop....have a little think............and maybe go have a wank....?.

But if he’s doing a poor job people are going to say something.

People do offer up questions and advice and people don’t seem to get much back. In fact there doesn’t seem to be much of worth that comes out at all over and above these types of lectures.

If you need the epitome of how bad he’s been at this role you need not look beyond his first comms in the role around the return to the championship and the first home game. It was so bad he was publicly wrapped on the knuckles with the club forced to issue a statement rebuking almost everything he’d said.

It was a calamitous start and it really hasn’t got much better.

It’s all been deleted now with the SLO and club hoping it gets swept under the carpet but he’s been very poor at driving fan engagement and communications for me.

Seems more like there is an agenda against the SLO. I can’t go to matches due to 360+ miles being involved so I don’t know or see him, but is it really worth all of this sniping at each other?

I’m fully grown up fella and there’s certainly not a lot of fat on me either. If it makes you feel stronger, then post away with personal abuse as you see fit. I can’t help you with that, it’s hard to train empathy and understanding.

Personal abuse is for those who don’t have the intellect to argue a point. You don’t have to fall in to that camp

You miss the reality of the situation...

Clearly, some rudeness or abuse seems to have been hurled across the bar counter in the concourse. The staff don’t know who the person is or persons are. Perhaps they could give a description, e.g. fat, middle-aged, bald, aggressive drunken man, but that would be about all. But the offender(s) would have hotfooted it back into the stands before stewards would be aware.

The bar staff then report this to their manager after the game or during the second half. The club management has a duty of care to all staff, so has to take some action to minimise the chances of it happening again. Since they cannot positively identify the individuals concerned, management decides to get the SLO to communicate their concerns in quite a reasonable way. A bit like the headteacher reading out a warning in assembly to stop the kids misbehaving.

Then we get people unreasonably wanting to know all the minute details, which simply are not available to the SLO nor would be much help. This moaning rather seems like a weak excuse just to have a pop at the SLO.

The unpleasant abusers know who they are, know their cards have been marked now, and so are unlikely to repeat the bad behaviour for fear of being ejected from the stadium (there will likely be a few more stewards in the concourse near the bar counter at half time now).

Job done. Staff are much less likely to receive abuse from dickheads in future.

So what I’m reading into this is that the catering lot want to “make one” with The Muckers Top Table………seems a bit brave but if that’s what they want I’m sure the challenge will be met. They are clearly a game bunch and they’ve got my respect 👍

Don't know about Norway but after three hours of watching me read this forum my dog has a basic understanding of concourse etiquette.

What a bizarre take on it. Why would it offend if your not doing it? Why would you not feel sympathy with staff?
If we had a spate of bottles thrown on the pitch from the north surely you would issue a general appeal to all not to do it and report anything? Not get hissy because it's a lecture. It's bad behaviour end of and needs calling out.
