Stevenage v Blackpool Official Matchday Thread 03.02.24

Can we play Ekpiteta upfront next game.
He’s the only one looking capable of scoring nowadays.
We deserve everything we’ve got here, F..k All!
Thank god I don’t travel away much anymore. Credit to those that do.

Play offs buggered now. Negativity. Playing non footballers like Kouassi and CJ and leaving your talented players on the bench. Always worrying about the bloody opposition, just play your best team and let them worry about you. That’s why I don’t do away games anymore who’d do a 600 mile round trip to watch Kouassi?

We can criticise their style of play and tactics. We can blame the officials for pandering to them. The truth is we had several players who have been awful. We started brightly playing good football then reverted to long balls. It's a shocking display from players and coaches. All those clamouring for Gabriel to start, you may need to think again, him and CJ have been liabilities.

I'm one of the worst for moaning when We play badly (because I know We are so much better, and We have some great players).
But honestly how horrible would it be to support a team like Stevenage?... A truly awful team that wouldn't look out of place playing in the six nations.
Then again.... if you can't beat shit like this.
Unfortunately the reality and the truth must be We ain't as good as I think We are.

We play right into the hands of the low quality teams that play an effective direct style of football. Our game is too complicated for league One players. We need to be more aggressive and press the opposition, that's what we were so good at last time we went up playing 442
