Absolute tosh, People buy season tickets because the cost of a season ticket is much cheaper than buying a ticket on a match by match basis. Every season has midweek fixtures both home and away and at most we are talking 3 games being postponed for an international fixture. And that's only if it happens to be a weekend where the opponents happen to have internationals.International fixture cancellations stop people buying season tickets. Just can't rely on the fixtures being played at weekends anymore.
The main reason they swapped local games on midweek to Saturdays was so clubs maxed revenues. And will the authorities pay us compensation for the lost revenue?
If they were bringing 20 to the Saturday game, there might only be 15 there midweek. Is the lost £100 going to be compensated? Is it thump.
Hence the fun of Cheltenham and OrientThe main reason they swapped local games on midweek to Saturdays was so clubs maxed revenues.
The long distances matches are now Tues/Weds.
Attendance got to be at least 2,000 less than if played on a Saturday.Out of interest, wonder how many AVFTT'ers can't now make the Cods game. I have a business trip and so am being denied although my ticket will be used.
That’s the spiritIm an exile . I’ll be making every effort to go .
Might be the last time we ever play them .

We are Cheadle Hulme not far from Bramhall Park Road.
Perhaps we can arrange a meet up some time for a chat and a beer or even a walk in the park which me and Mrs Bleach like to do.I’m the one wearing the Blackpool Scarf
Do you get to Bloomfield Road often.I manage most Saturday or daytime games like hopefully Wycombe and have my ticket already for Pompey on Saturday ( South Stand as I like to sit not stand)but usually set off so I can park up near the Bloomfield Pub by 12 30 then stroll down to the prom passing the ground unless it’s peeing down.

Must live on one of those big houses near the Park then….Broadway,Carrwood Road or Avenue or St.Michaels Avenue ( my old boss lives on Carrwood Avenue )** tax reasons I believe
AgreedExiles that usually attend as usual are the biggest losers - my lad's in Chester but works in Wrexham. Tackling the M6 restrictions is a bloody nightmare.
Agreed ! They are bottom of league 1. It can't be justified .It's a game I should be able to get to now if they're still selling tickets at kick off. But it's league one and it should be on a Saturday at 3pm as planned. That or all domestic football stops for internationals as a rule and clubs factor that in when they map out their fixture list with each other.
