Posh v Stevenage Thread

A big game for both clubs. A win for Posh would keep them well in the hunt for automatic promotion. If they and Barnsley win their games in hand 2 points will separate Derby, Posh, Bolton and Barnsley. A win for Stevenage would be a blow to our hopes, so here's hoping Bacon-nose Jnr and his players can give Fatty Bumbastic and his hoofball merchants a good slapping.

I just concern myself with our results.
Like Wiz, I'll look at the result at 10pm but not before.
If it comes down to the final game to decide our fate, then I'll monitor the others from behind our sofa 🤣 🧡

used to love it when big barry fry up was on their touchline. remember a documentary when he remortgaged his house to put some cash into Posh. might be online somewhere .
 
Fatty Evans has been sucking up to Posh all week which can only mean one thing - he's going to sh#thouse them for all he's worth tonight.

Having read it back, due to my wording, I can now see why you thought that!
I used to do sensitive security work for Quintiles (now IQVIA) on the same estate as the stadium. It's a baron, boring location that takes an age to drive to.
I admire our supporters for travelling down there, but at my age, I'll stick to my plan of hiding behind the sofa :)
 
More likely to lose it because they're getting bullied and Stevenage are stopping them from passing out from the back
 
As horrendous as Stevenage are to watch, you have to say they are well drilled into this style. It’s the big looming criticism of Critch, what exactly is our style? We seem to just go with the flow without a tangible plan.
 
Stevenage are hard working, well organised, and their forwards are looking sharp when they get the ball forward. It's easy to see why they are where they are.
However, Peterborough imo have been woeful so far. It really is a poor league this year.
 
On 1st look I thought it was a dive but there was definite contact from the Stevenage player's left leg. Stupid place to committ such a careless challenge though but delighted he did.

I remember watching that but when Fry went into the dressing room at half time and completely took over the half time team talk with the manager not being allowed to get a word in and then sack him shortly afterwards was an absolute disgrace.
In fact it might have been Evans, but couldn’t swear to it.
