Racist Comment

How can the club confirm this unless they heard the comment?

I sit in M Block. It was reported to the referee by a Wycombe player. The ref took the player over to the benches where he summoned both managers for a discussion. Presumably the stewards or police then had it reported to the Club match management in order for it to be broadcast at half time.

I saw the stewards take 2 guys out at separate times to talk to them.
1 of them returned to his seat and didn't say a word the rest of the game and just sat there and he is usually very vocal.

Other guy didn't come back.

That being said I didn't hear what he said and I hear everything else that comes out of his mouth.

But if he did say anything like that he should be banned.

the club tweet "confirms" that it took place yet they will need to identify the individual first and have also asked supporters for any incidents or discriminatory behaviour.

So have they confirmed it took place or not? its a strong allegation and so far all we have is the player reporting it.

If this is genuine then it's ridiculous ans whoever did it is a clown, let's somehow hope it was something misheard, as seems to have happened before.

The issue is it usually goes away and nothing gets confirmed, no update just something thrown out.

Creates a bad reputation though, which is not what we want.

Just telling a Nobber that’s obsessed with posting on a Blackpool forum and repeatedly saying how shite we are etc. Your team going nowhere as usual too, vanilla club and vanilla fans 👍

You don’t like it then when a fan calls the manager shit then? I bet you think all fans that booed today are Preston fans disguised at Pool fans. Funny.

When a racist comment is reported the protoco is now that a stadium announcement is made such as we got at half time

If he/she is brought to task then the club need to issue them a season ticket for next season and insist they watch every home game under Critchley if that doesn’t break them then ban them for life the following season.

Has any guilt be proven?

The Club CAN’T confirm what happened as “the Club” doesn’t know and isn’t the Law.

The speed that some jump on things before they have the remotest clue what happened is remarkable

IF a racist comment was made then the police will deal with it and the person will be guilty or innocent but some of you want a fan banning without due process having taken place.? Very odd from intelligent people

Poor post. The incident was reported. The half time announcement asked people at the ground to report what they had seen and to condemn racist comments. After that it lies with the Police to follow it up.

Who is saying any more than that?
