'at no extra charge'. They're like a drug dealer. We'll give you this hit for free. Then next time (the following season), they will charge for it.Every club will feature at least 20 times in live coverage on new skysports+ channel at no extra charge details on skysports website
Women’s Super LeagueAbout time the EFL and Sky realised there is life outside the PL. good stuff.
3pm Saturday is what most fans who attend games wantso there will be more 1230 kick off's then.
They will probably get a share of the sky money to cover it.Doesn't this deprive the Club of £10, 20 times a season, potentially?
And pigs might flyThey will probably get a share of the sky money to cover it.
Obviously, but the better supported teams would have more £10's each game, so depending on the money given, some teams will gain and some will I assume, lose. They will probably get a share of the sky money to cover it.

Without a doubt'at no extra charge'. They're like a drug dealer. We'll give you this hit for free. Then next time (the following season), they will charge for it.
Good - much sooner have games at 1230 - especially in the winter. Getting home in daylight makes a massive difference.so there will be more 1230 kick off's then.
If it's an equal share then Blackpool will probably gain and if its a share in ratio to the usage that is probably fair anyway.Obvi

and I will continue to do so.More kickoffs at random times, our stadiums and coverage plastered with gambling ads.
No thanks. I would rather buy the games for £10 from the club.
You won’t know till after Youv paid for your season ticketFootball was scheduled for 3pm because workers could work the morning then head to the football in the afternoon.
Well guess what that still happens to a lesser extent.
More 12.30 kick offs and I’ll have to miss some games next season.depending on the number it will decide whether I commit to season tickets.
How it won't be available to buy from the club anymore?and I will continue to do so.
Nope that 20 includes midweek games and Saturday 3pm until the Blackout starts a week after the PL begins. So every team gets at least 20 games covered, that means at least 20 games not at 3pm, and you just know that games like Plymouth vs Sunderland and Blackpool vs Charlton will be picked for lunchtime kick offs.
Every Carabo cup tie is to be televised but not counted in the 20.Last season we played in the league at 3.00pm on a Saturday 31 times.
There are 46 games so 15 will be broadcast anyway.
That means as a min 5 games more need to be played outside the 3pm slot - but don’t forget this deal covers some cup competitions as well, and as far as I am aware those games are included in the min number of 20 games live.
There can obviously be more as well.
I suppose it depends on what you count in the twenty - if we did 31 leagues games on a Saturday last season then surely it’s 5 that as a min will have to move.Every Carabo cup tie is to be televised but not counted in the 20.
The twenty includes first and last games of the season all midweek,Boxing/New Years day and Easter fixtures for all EFL clubs.
What does that leave 6 or 7 to be moved?
In which case they'd be moved to a lunchtime KO as that makes most sense.Every Carabo cup tie is to be televised but not counted in the 20.

VPN.....shh.How it won't be available to buy from the club anymore?

So still illegal.VPN.....shh.
Would have thought so can't see there being much call for 5.30 matches in League 1 unless International breaks and we all know that is a crock with games getting called off.In which case they'd be moved to a lunchtime KO as that makes most sense.
Have always found the fact we play at a time that the players don't train a bit weird.3pm Saturday is what most fans who attend games want
Just the first Saturday as the "rule" appears to only apply when the Premier League season starts which is from the following Saturday from what I've been told.So if they are streaming every game first weekend is this the end of the 3pm black out or just for the first weekend?
Yes, players might prefer it, job done by 2.30Have always found the fact we play at a time that the players don't train a bit weird.
Think especially for away players that they'd sooner get the game over and done with and get home.
Be interesting to see what effect 12.30 starts has on attendances.

They won’t need to travel though with so many games being streamed. End of stadium atmosphereSo every week 5 games will have either early or late kickoffs. You can bet they don’t take travelling fans in to consideration. Yet another decision made by money men who only care about money and not the game
Ruins watching the scores on a Saturday afternoon. So every week 5 games will have either early or late kickoffs. You can bet they don’t take travelling fans in to consideration. Yet another decision made by money men who only care about money and not the game
TBH - glad we'll have the job done by 2.30 - never understood the rigid 3pm kick offs which is explained in this Guardian article ...Yes, players might prefer it, job done by 2.30
I still prefer 3pm, all adds to the day, longer build up and no rushing around.TBH - glad we'll have the job done by 2.30 - never understood the rigid 3pm kick offs which is explained in this Guardian article ...
Saturday 3pm exists because of the way working patterns used to be and football – as an entertainment, something for people who work to attend to take their mind off things – scheduled itself accordingly. Three o’clock on a Saturday was perfect.
Slight amendment....it was originally 2.00pm, which would give working people time to get home, get their dinner and get out again to go to the match. It changed to 3.00pm when floodlights became widely used.TBH - glad we'll have the job done by 2.30 - never understood the rigid 3pm kick offs which is explained in this Guardian article ...

Not forgetting that the 3pm blackout didn't apply during the five international breaks / weekends and clubs were free to stream on the Saturday.I suppose it depends on what you count in the twenty - if we did 31 leagues games on a Saturday last season then surely it’s 5 that as a min will have to move.
