10 years ago today.....

We thumped Wigan in our first PL game. That first 45 minutes was mad , we should have scored 5 as Brett missed a sitter and GTF had a
goal wrongly chalked off. Always look back on that game with great fondness as the result was totally unexpected.

That day was special.

It was 40 years and 1 day to my first game I can remember at BR which was a 3-1 win over WBA after Astle had put them in front with a bullet backpost header, which as a kid on the wall I was glad it went it because had it gone the other side of the post it would have taken my head off.

Look at the scores at the bottom- league one Bournemouth....what XXXXXX the Oi!Scums were.

What a day, remember it like yesterday.... phoned my old man after the game I just remember going on and on that blackpool are top of the premier league. Even at 34 I can confidently say that will never happen again in my lifetime

My favourite ever away day this. I remember early on Wigan fans singing “premier league you’re having a laugh” 20 minutes later we’re 3-0 up.

Just landed in las palmas ,The girl Stewart was a Wigan fan ,me & Mrs S had pool shirts on ,she didn't believe us when we told her the score .
