13/2

The donkey i have a share in is running at Uttoxeter on Friday so i might stick all my winnings on the mighty. If truth be known i don't think it will win but hey ho.

I think we'll be lucky to get away with a point if the injuries we incurred against t'Rovers don't improve.
theres a decent replacement for maxi, we still have jerry, gary goals, and tjj as forward options, wouldnt even mind seeing keshi in the middlle as an out and out striker. there are a host of options in defence. my bet is one of the next three games is where we suddenly click, like we did last season.

We've won 3 and drawn 1 of the last 4, have we not clicked already?

we're showing signs of it, but i think theres more to come. the fact that we have won 3 of the last 4 and drawn another is a sign we can play slightly below our best and still beat good championship sides. there are times we are really good and can boss teams but we havent yet taken that to a full ninety minutes, and as yet we havent truly found our shooting boots.

So when did we hit that point last season? We didn't ever really take teams to the cleaners. We started to look comfortable at some point. But goals were always a bit hard to come by. We didn't ever cut loose. We did become very efficient and hard to beat though. We are not like that yet this season, the opposition teams are much better. I'll be surprised if we beat Forest tbh. I doubt this season will mirror last season.

I dunno if its possible to dominate most Champ sides for 90 mins, but I'm loving the positivity! 👍 👍 👍 👍

Gave up gambling about 12 months ago - the wins were meaning less and less but the losses were hurting more - mug's game.

Same, although didn't quite get 20s - who do you use? And had Lavery to score and 2-1 against Rovers - think I'll also do BTTS and Blackpool on Sat, see if I can bring us some of the luck I'm riding on at the min.
Bet 536 for me and I am up massively on Shayne so far as his odds were brilliant every game up to the last couple of games.
I even backed him for his Ireland goal.

I'm one of the few on here who always gets 20s - having known the old scrote😜for 56 years since we were at BGS from age 11😱

He's a good old mate and a sound owd lad tha' knows!

I think there's an air of Sheffield utd in the prem about us at the moment, it's good when we win games narrowly but that can quickly turn into losing games narrowly as we saw in their second season, and I don't think we've won by more than one goal yet (correct me if I'm wrong). I agree that we need a click a bit more and start dominating games and winning more comfortably - not every game - but at least some!

Agree @Dougall .. win £180 million on the Euros and that is life changing .. winning a tenner here and there on Blackpool and losing more times than you win (you never see a poor bookmaker) and that's when the problems can start.

I would given us no chance if this game had been played last week. Forest were flying on momentum and a new Guv’nor.
A week off will have left them frustrated, and rather empty. The first 20 mins are crucial. They will attack, expecting success, and if they score it will be a long day. If they don’t, their enthusiasm will wane gradually throughout the game. Then anything can happen.
