I always liked Ashley Fletcher.A really talented player not really been keeping tabs on how he’s been doing. He is the different sort of forward to what we already have though.

sadly I think the ones I’ve heard of are all out of our reach for the moment.

Big things were expected of him and he scored for fun early in his career. Do not know what has gone wrong suspect it might be injuries

without any real research, here are my thoughts on some potentials

Joe Lumley, I thought he was superb when he came on loan to us

Henrik Dalsgaard. Not a Critch type of signing but experienced Brentford right back who is a full international for Denmark and a leader

Tommy Elphick, at the wrong end of his career but another leader and a solid centre half

Christian Kabasele. Probably out of our range but a fantastic centre half at championship level

Clark Robertson, would we have him back?

Barry Bannan, still only 31, would he give us that nous needed to break down defences?

Lewis Holtby, was going to be the next big thing at Spurs, still class.

Daniel Johnson and Ben Pearson, both nob enders star men who want to move to better things, maybe a trip down the M55?

Britt Assombalonga, too expensive but a good No 9

André Ayew, would be class for us

Zach Clough. What went wrong, he was the future at Bolton?

i think i will ask my son how they all rate on FIFA, i used to be impressed with his knowledge of players until i realised it was due to the hours he put in on football manager
