We played Accrington Stanley away, in what was the first "proper" game post-Oyston. It was great to be back on a packed terrace with Pool fans!

Bizarre game with their keeper getting sent off for throwing a bottle back into our end.

Was a fantastic return for us. Remember this match well. The beer marquee. The atmosphere was just electric. Can’t wait to get back to football matches now. I’m saying roll on August 21
 
That was a joyful day and Accrington were good hosts. The kop end did us proud, singing non-stop, and those of us in the paddock were roasted in the sunshine. Can't wait to get back.
