.

I wouldn't describe it as shit, but it certainly is not as good as last seasons and I won't be getting it

Like I said on the new kit poll, it might not be everybody’s cup of tea but I quite like it because it is different, it actually reminds me of the Holland kit from 1988. I am actually glad we are going for something different because previous seasons we always go for the basic design except for the awful pinstripe shirt from 2015/16 season with Village on it which absolutely sucked but this shirt is actually quite nice and I can’t wait to get it when it comes out.

I wouldn’t take it personally and I doubt the club will. In fact they’ll probably relish the fact that people are talking about it (good or bad).

It’s just a matter of personal taste and this type of design is bound to divide opinion more than some…

Or not. I was going to buy the first shirt in quite a number of years. I won't be buying this and I don't think I'm on my own.

I’m must admit when SS chose that awful Duran Duran sing for the players to come out to that I thought… “Now there’s a bloke that lacks any sense of taste”

I suppose this kit kind of reaffirms that 😂

He had to have some flaws 👍

Then on the other hand you have people like my mum who hasn't bought a shirt for years because she thinks they all look the same, but has just pre ordered this one because its diffrent.
We will have to look at what the poll reveals. Up to now 42% either didn't like it or are unsure.

Not sure on it me, but it will be very popular amongst a large portion of our fans so fine by me.

I am a fan of funky kits as well, love some of the late 80/90s designs such as our bass kit, England 90 and that Dutch one. But with this one I don't think it looks that great, design should be across the entire shirt not just the front panel, looks a bit odd to me because of that and all the white blends with the puma logo and sponsor

Just because someone doesn't like it doesn't necessarily mean they won't buy it. Already seen someone on Twitter saying that they don't like it, but will still buy it. Have to see what the sales will be like if we even find out. There's a queue to get on the club website to by it right now though.

I not a fan of it, I prefer a plain shirt, however I will be getting one for me and my daughter.

I want the championship badges on the sleeve of my shirt, so will be buying it for that reason alone.

The shirt is ok, its not in my personal top 3 BFC shirts nut it is also a very long way from being in the bottom 3 shirts we have worn! we hjave had some shockers in the past and this is a long way from those.

Think it’s great m retro style , something different to being plain look , my opinion
is jazzy the word lol
got a fat git one on pre order lol

I wonder how the people at the club feel with all the effort that is going in, they take a look at AVFTT and see this thread title.

This thread is SHIT!!! Grow up FFS.
There wouldn't have been much effort going in to sorting the new kit out as its a generic Puma design used by several clubs

Would have been a quick email probably

As you get older it’s debatable whether wearing football shirts is really acceptable. We’ll in some people’s minds that’s the case. I wore my old floors to go lucky away shirt for the Cardiff & Lincoln games & it worked a treat, mainly to show some colours. I’m sure the younger supporters will snap these new ones up & I expect they are the target age range. I’ll no doubt end up with something more subtle perhaps with just the club logo. Great to have a professional club after half my lifetime without.

And I'd be seriously worried if you provided some constructive criticism other than just "shit" and "no words". Is your vocabulary not good enough to explain WHY you think it's "shit"?
Her you go, I’ll give you a piece of constructive criticism.

The design is poorly thought out in the sense that it creates the illusion of a narrow shoulder (or fails to create the illusion of a broad one). The reason for that is the way the shoulders are boxed by the front design.

Men tend to prefer to buy shirts, clothing that make them look better rather than worse.

That said it’s a football shirt, most of the fol wearing it will get overweight and have zero dress sense in any case…

So as long as it compliments their ill fitting jeans and KB footwear trainers nobody will give a shit.😂

A lot of research goes into choosing a kit.

The problem is people's tastes differ. Selecting something everyone of all age groups like is near on impossible.

No different from some people like chips others prefer mash.

I personally think it looks fantastic . Definately buying one.

Well, I will be attending next season's matches in one of three shirts:

1. Warm, spring & summer weather = the v-neck & short sleeve late 50s shirt.
2. Cooler, autumnal weather = the early-mid 60s long sleeve, round-neck shirt.
3. Winter weather = the 1953 shirt.

That's plenty options.
