Were the Yanks out of order on the 18th? Didn't see it as on coach but Sky implying they were twats.
 
McIroy was very angry that Cantley’s caddie, when over-celebrating the long putt, apparently jumped up and down in the line of vision for McIroy’s putt when he was awaiting his chance to halve the match. McIlroy made his feelings known at the side of the green and it continued afterwards in the car park, with McIlroy having to be held back.

It sounds like the problem to McIlroy was a rude, unpleasant and jumped-up Yank caddie wanting his man to win at all costs and using his celebration to put McIlroy off his game. No decorum, decency or sportsmanship with some of these colonial types.

Mcilroy had to be held back in the carpark. All kicked off big time.

Tomorrow you just front load it up with all our best players with Rose as the anchorman at the back.

I expect the two captains and the match officials will have a meeting this evening to calm things down. And I suspect the obnoxious Yank caddie will be relieved of his duties for tomorrow. It was inexcusable behaviour.
 
I can accept the caddie getting a little bit overhyped after his player has had shit the whole day and he’s just holed a long putt, but to not realise two people are left to putt, but to then go back to Rory giving him shit when he’s lining up his putt is the actions of a top knobhead.

Hope we drill them tomorrow.

Spilled over into the car park after as well with Rory doing lots of finger pointing and probably telling him to fcuk off too before he was guided into the back of courtesy car!
 
Didn’t something similar happen in a Ryder cup in America when one of our guys still had a chance of a put to have the match but the yanks had flooded the green which delayed the put🤷🏽‍♂️ no class 😩
 
Some great match-ups today. As we only need 4 points I might have preferred us to sacrifice a rookie against Scheffler and match Rahm against a US rookie.

Yanks looking very strong in the games they are up in.
Ideally need Rham, Fitzpatrick or Hatton to get the points to win.
