That has got to be some kind of record, the unbeatable Yanks not winning a match on day one .

My parents had a house in Fountain Hills and they are my team and have seen them a few times, it's such an exciting sport ant the atmosphere is incredible, I first saw them back in 1970!! I think they were the Roadrunners then but have loved the sport ever since and I went to see the Blackpool Seagulls at every home game in the 80's, that was always a great day if there was football in the afternoon and Ice Hockey in the evening.
 
The lads are all over them again this morning.

Hovland / Aberg 7 up after 9 against Scheffler / Koepke. Amazing.

Yanks getting huge pelters for having a 5 week break prior to the competition. And quite rightly too as they are completely outclassed and under prepared looking.

No, the Roadrunners were a minor league team (IHL or AHL). The original Winnipeg Jets relocated to the Valley in 1996 and became the Coyotes

Likewise, I used to go watch the Seagulls but tat was back in the 70s
 
There will have been a couple of hundred thousand people at this tournament and only the Americans are suffering covid.

I'll go as far to say, if Rahm and Hatton win this morning Europe will win the Cup.

Is the difference that no prize money is involved as we know that’s the main thing that matters to Americans (Megan Markle a good example) where the Europeans are playing for pride and looks like Luke Donald and his vice captains have done a brilliant job
 
I cringed this morning when the commentators were talking about Europe possibly winning this afternoon. Clearly its still a massive task for the US but that last match was massive, Cantley was unbelievable.

Indeed but matchplay is a game of momentum. If the US team get a good start in the first four matches watch the nerves on the European team, its hard to close out matches when in a commanding position as they pressure is off the US team.
