Anyone know the dog owner and dog that killed a Swan in St Annes. In the Gazette tonight. All dogs should be muzzled in public places, heavy fine if not and owners banned from having dogs again.

I can't find any report of a dog killing a swan. One was attacked in Ashton gardens a couple of weeks ago but is now recovering. Surely it's not happened again has it?

She's just a f###g mass murderer....we've had mice, voles, pigeons. next door's budgie and a half eaten duck...although it was all deep fried and crispy and could have been the one we ordered from the excellent Blue Moon in St, Annes.....BUT IT WAS STILL A F###G DUCK!!!!!!...(or a quarter)

Simply form an “animal abuse deterrent squad”. When someone is convicted pass the individual over to the deterrent squad who will inflict the same on the guilty party that they inflicted on the animal (or as near as they can), then leave the person where they dropped and they are free to go...if they can walk, breathe etc......no jail sentence to serve

second offence though and the deterrent squad really go to Town so may need a rubbish cart at the end to take the body away BUT if you survive there’s no prison sentence to serve

And on leads where there is livestock in the countryside. So many dogs out of control attacking sheep, cows, llamas etc. What people don't know is the farmer has the right to shoot the animal on site, but as most are animal lovers, they choose not to.

Mine is on the lead ALL the time in public spaces, nothing wrong with having them on an extender where you can control them.

The amount of people wandering along and having no idea where there dog has gone is ridiculous, it's always 'well he never attacked anything before'.

Put in on a ** lead you wankers.

All the dogs I see are always on the lead, both going and coming back.
Although we don't have a dog now we are both dog lovers, and watch them all the time.
 
I keep my terrier on a lead because he can be reactive and would fight a tiger ,mistvtimes he is fine
Sometimes on field let him off to chase a ball ,when he has ball very focused and ignores all other dogs or favourite treats

Some figs need vigorous exercise but you can still be cautious

Normal walking on streets or park and it's a lead

We dont all live in shitholes stinking of crap, piss and doggy smell. ffs just wait till these doggys want to protest about their gender or colour ffs

It’s perfectly acceptable to let your dog have a run in open spaces such as the beach & Lawson rd, we always put ours on the lead around Marton Mere as it asks you to on the much ignored signage. If in any doubt on the lead. Funnily enough we’re of to Lawson rd right now.
