24 hours in Police Custody

Tonight’s episode was thought provoking.

Victim of attempt burglary chases two offenders in his car and wipes their getaway motorcycle out. Burglars suffered serious injuries.

One person went to jail, two didn’t.

Discuss.

I watched it.

I was disgusted at the end.

The police knew exactly what had happened and should have never let it go any further with the lad who was eventually jailed. They even said he hit the kerb, blew two tyres out and THEN lost control of his car. Not a chance in my mind that he intended to smash into them.
The OB should have gone for the higher charge then he would have either been found NG or the CPS would have knocked it back on grounds of no chance of conviction......if that's how it works ...

The court said he shouldn't have taken the law into his own hands.
Well, maybe so, but had he not no sort of justice would have been served. They got a suspended sentence but will hopefully be in pain for the rest of their lives......pieces of shit.

Is there a place we can donate to the lad who was jailed?

Even if he’d have caught one of them and held them long enough for the Police to arrive (possibly have to wait a couple of days for that though), the scrote would have got off with a community service order

Just as well Blood didn't catch those scrotes who nicked his wheels.
In last nights prog, neither scrote (vile, repeat offenders) would cooperate with the police investigation and both refused to make a witness statement.
The prosecution relied on the lads honest version of events (he would have been better not commenting) & the collision investigators report. The CPS, under a police recommendation 'could' have chosen not to proceed with a prosecution - but they didn't.
The judge's sentence was disproportionate to the circumstances, (not unusual), he should have given the guy a non custodial sentence.
The whole scenario was sad for the electrician and his wife & yet again made the law look an ass.

That’s a

The justice system in the country is on its arse. Has been for years.

If a man can’t defend his wife & house, then what’s the point? I know of numerous people who have reported break ins months ago and are still waiting for police to visit to take statements. If the police don’t have the resources to complete enquiries around burglary’s then don’t complain when the public make their own enquiries and dish out their own justice.

Lancashire Police are too busy pulling every driver possible in the early morning to try and get them a fine to pay for their Christmas Doo - the same as they do every year before Christmas!

Utter scum bags... I was fuming after watching it.

No doubt them scrotes will be on disability benefits now

If I come across them and knock them off their stolen bike I'll reserve over the feckers a couple of times!!

Years ago, one of my mates caught someone trying to break into his car late at night. Being a bit of a ‘hard-case’, it was a surprise to us all that he showed restraint and just pinned the lad til the Police turned up.
The thief got off with it without charge. My mate said to a copper “Next time I’m just gonna kick him up and down the street”.
The copper said “Next time just do it”.

The brazen scum with 3 kids looking into the camera saying I want to be a good father and oh I wanted to be a mechanic but now I just keep my head up looking for money. I can’t even understand his logic, the thick, waste of space, waste of oxygen, benefit scrounging, thieving scum bastard.
The old bill do f all about robberies, what are law obiding citizens supposed to do? Let these scum ran sack their houses? Absolute disgrace that his and his families life has been ruined through doing nothing other than been in his own house. End of the day of them two scum don’t go near his house it doesn’t happen
