WC semi finals are not the same day as we play Birmingham if that was what you were thinking. After the world Cup break... Xmas drinking in Blackpool... could be a bit entertaining!!!

If England win the group (assuming they get through R16) they play 7pm 1/4 final that night if the are second in the group they play 7pm on the Friday.WC semi finals are not the same day as we play Birmingham if that was what you were thinking.
Because we can't sell them?Other than more money for the club why do we give away teams more tickets than we need to. It gives the away team a boost and this season the home fans have risen to the challenge.
I agree bar for Birmingham last seasonThe only time we've won after giving away supporters 3000+ tickets is Barnsley.
Every other team have beaten us
Apart from money, there isn't another reason.Other than more money for the club why do we give away teams more tickets than we need to. It gives the away team a boost and this season the home fans have risen to the challenge.
And Blackburn we won so that's Barnsley and Birmingham also who brought over 3k.I agree bar for Birmingham last season
We don't pay for the policing outside and it went off fairly smoothly last season. They are horrible fans .The policing will probably take away most of the profits made that day. I remember the police putting Birmingham fans in the Blackpool end for their safety as Birmingham were fighting each other on the old kop . That was the first time they had riot police actually in an English stadium.
Whoops getting ahead... quarters.WC semi finals are not the same day as we play Birmingham if that was what you were thinking.
Sorry I thought flares were thrown into the south stand and supporters ran on the pitch . I must admit I don't know how the policing is paid for ,but someone has to pay ,even if its a bill at the end of the season. We don't pay for the policing outside and it went off fairly smoothly last season.
Birmingham never beat us last season. Wasn’t it 6-1 with loads of blues fans at Bloomfield rdThe only time we've won after giving away supporters 3000+ tickets is Barnsley.

Still sends shivers down my spine that day, what a(not all) fuckin pack of wild, rabid animals. They are horrible fans .The policing will probably take away most of the profits made that day. Agree completely but would add that this all comes down to stupid pricing of £30 for home fans…way way too expensive and needs addressing… could do a special bring a mate initiative just for season ticket holders…say £20 a ticketBecause we can't sell them?
No one was complaining Saturday when we took 4,000 to Wigan it's just ridiculous that with our poor support you'd throw money in the bin because it may give the away team a boost and then some will complain about our poor budget.
Duttons Arms was wrecked. Bar staff hid in the cellar while upstairs was ransacked.Still sends shivers down my spine that day, what a(not all) fuckin pack of wild, rabid animals.
The mentality of some, bar staff hiding down in cellar, I’d have been helping myself not smashing the pubDuttons Arms was wrecked. Bar staff hid in the cellar while upstairs was ransacked.
Totally agree £30 is bonkers but at least let ST holders buy at members price like we've been able to do in the past.Agree completely but would add that this all comes down to stupid pricing of £30 for home fans…way way too expensive and needs addressing… could do a special bring a mate initiative just for season ticket holders…say £20 a ticket
