A point a game from the remaining 23 fixtures will be enough to stay up this season.
If Peterborough are the worst team by a mile, and given that Barnsley and Derby already look doomed, what are you so worried about? Suggest you try to be a bit more positive - mid table half way through our first season back in the Championship is pretty good imo.Jesus Christ one win against the worst team (by a mile) in this division and the happy clappers are out in full force.
It was a much needed 3 points today and I am glad we got over the line, but if the game had ended 1-1 then there really wouldn't have been much to moan about. Critchley got his subs spot on today, but that's the first time all season.
Once again, another absolute shite performance served up - only this time we got the result we deserved. Embarrassed by a team who sit bottom of the form table in league two. We have way too many bang average players taking up places in the squad. It's the same crap served up every week, we huff and puff but we just don't have the quality required to compete.
Critchley has to take huge responsibility for today. Far too many poor squad signings which haven't improved the team, way too reliant on Keshi as proven when he went off today (99% of experienced managers would have rested him today) and a style of football which makes me want scratch my eyeballs out.
I hope Sadler can wake up before allowing him to blow the transfer budget in the next few weeks on a few lads he used to manage when they were kids.
I don't know what or who the answer is, but Critchley is not it.

Never posts when we have a decent result, and seems to have convenient blindness when it comes to judging the manager. Almost certainly a Nobber.I've had a look back at your previous posts on various threads. Other than one about Steak Pies, the rest are complete garbage.

No thanks.
3 goals in 8 games.
Haven't scored in 6 hours of football. Haven't looked like scoring either.
Critchley was brought in to deliver an attacking and exciting brand of football. I don't think ive ever watched a game and felt so sure we weren't going to score as I have today.
I said last week that Grayson had the team playing a better brand of football than we are currently playing and today just confirmed it.
A few lucky wins earlier on in the season has just papered over the cracks.
Most of the players lack that quality we need at this level. I've never seen a team misplace as many passes as we do. Decision making is terrible every time we try and get the ball forward. The only positive is that we are still okay-ish defensively.
The recent run of results has gone from a 'bad patch' to really concerning and it won't be long before questions will need to be asked about the managers job.
This 4.5 year deal may come back to bite us

Flattered to deceive early on in season, finding our level now
I agreeFlattered to deceive early on in season, finding our level now
2-0 nobber!!Flattered to deceive early on in season, finding our level now
I agree about not sacking the manager. The last part about being up against better players is also right but easier to correct, start signing better ones. Critchley may be a good coach and may be able to o bring the best out of players but you can onlycoach them to the best they can be . Unfortunately we have signed too many who will never be better than average, as the old saying goes you can’t polish a turd. You don't sack the manager because of one bad result. I say one bad result (todays match) because in the league we are up against much better players than we have.
I’ve been watching Blackpool for nearly 30 years, I can guarantee there’s been more tearful lilywhites in that time period with your continuous playoff failures, derby defeats and never hitting the big league. Here comes the tennis balls…..
think you've answered your own question here as to why fans don't go to away gamesSpot on op All the replies have never been to an away game for years , I’m currently stood at sheffield station looking at at departure board showing cancelled cancelled cancelled thinking after already spending thousands this season , is it worth it? Cos I have seen anything as bad as today and quite frankly we are shit
Not sure I would classify winning 2 of the last 4 league games as a ' very poor run of form' .It isn`t the end of the world by any means but I must confess I`m feeling a little depressed at the moment with our continuing very poor run of form and we did put out our strongest team available today which slightly surprised me.So we can`t come away with claiming it was our second string team.
The rest of the season now looks a very big challenge and we`ll know a lot more at the end of it. Fingers crossed that we leave this very poor run of form well behind us.
It`s true we have won 2 out of our last four league games ,one home against very lowly Peterborough when until the last few minutes we looked happy to hold on for a draw and a 1-0 scrappy home win against quite lowly and poor Hull where the performance was far from impressive. Previously to that we had failed to win in seven games 3 draws ,4 losses, with an absolute dearth of goals . Today fielding the best team available, so presumably looking to get to the fourth round, we lost to a team that has just come out of the National league and is apparently a very average League 2 team. Not sure I would classify winning 2 of the last 4 league games as a ' very poor run of form' .
So we were lucky when we won, so what happened when we lost? Were those teams not lucky? We were also lucky in a few of those games on the good run, our bar, some great saves and luck saved the day, and luck doesn’t go on forever. ma it covered up the cracks that were already there.
let’s hope he can pull it round for all our sakes, because if thi poor run continues until after Christmas, we could be staring at a relegation place.
If hed rested a lot of players you would have slated him for it and slagged him for not putting out a full strength side.Once again, another absolute shite performance served up - only this time we got the result we deserved. Aye and we'll stay up.I know some regard beating PNE as almost the be all and end all but as far as I am concerned it`s worth only exactly the same number of points as any other game and should be regarded as little more than that . It`s nice to beat them but it`s our results over 46 games not just 2 that really matter.
No I don`t need to. Looking at Derby and Barnsley`s position it would have to be a disastrous run in to finish below them ( let`s hope we don`t lose to Barnsley next Saturday) as that only leaves one place to avoid the odds must be strongly in our favour.Aye and we'll stay up.
Bookmark it if you like.
No worries fella, we all offend someone on here at some pointNo I don`t need to. However we don`t want to get just 2 wins and 3 draws from our next 12 games and only 10 goals do we? That would leave us pretty depressed wouldn`t it.
Ps sorry if I offended you on the P.A. thread .Offended by your comment as I was it`s really not worth getting that wound up on AVFTT trivia is it. So my apologies.
Would disagree with that, Not sure where you've got this line from 'He has only really played well in the last couple of games.'“Reliant on Keshi” where have you got that from?
He has only really played well in the last couple of games. His end product has been missing for most of the games he has played.
Sterling?I can guarantee many of these players will be with us next season. These include, Maxwell, Yates, Mitchell, James, Connolly, Sterling, Madine, and Critchley
Pathetic post. It's obvious we haven't got the financial clout as many clubs and are trying to build the club from youth and have to mix it with far more stronger clubs. The Pool are building a future, get behind the club or do one to Preston. In our house BJ refers to Bum Juice….think Jord(ie) fits the bill.
