Fans at the preston v leicester game today Ha Ha Ha
Having to pay aren't they... so there is that, wipes out a lot of kids who are used to free. Plus I've not heard Rock fm ramping up the giveaways 😏

Was even worse vs hearts...

Its only a friendly, of course the attendance is low. Generally speaking they are not worth paying for, but its something to do i guess for those with spare cash.

More than we will get tomorrow

West stand holds bit over 3.6k, minus off the missing bit of q block and the remaining seats probably about 2.8k in the west gone at a guess.

Fair few in the north and corner area, probably over 1.5k.

Add hospitality should be already more than them.

Shame the ticket office isn't open tommorow until ko. But it does say....

Tickets:
Match tickets remain on sale to home supporters. The Club Shop and Ticket Office will be open 10am-12pm on Sunday, though tickets will remain on sale up until kick-off over the phone or online.

So I presume if someone phones up they collect it from that little ticket hut?

No reason ticket office shouldn’t be open til 3pm……..I’d like to hear any reasonable justification.

I could staff it on my own……minimum wage for the three hours between 12-3pm would cost club £30…….would they not sell over £30 worth of tickets on the day??
As with the Rangers game with the away fans occupying the south, it'll be to do with avoiding the home and away fans mixing. Not that I agree with that policy.

Agree I don't know why it shouldn't be possible to have the East Stand open to anyone who wants to pay on the day.

Has anyone thought that they might be struggling with staff, Covid ? Just saying.

Just shuddering at the thought that people have to deal with football fans in a confined space for minimum wage, probably mostly youngish people firstish job types, I imagine.

But yeah, the British love closing things early, I remember even Woolworths closing at about 3 on a Sunday, was impossible to buy a Super Nintendo game in Blackpool after 4 pm on a Sunday, state of affairs

Well I can't buy tickets as the shop is closed
If you want tickets pal message me on here and I'll get them from the ticket office for you, not had a heavy one tonight and got time on my hands in the morning.
The club loses a lot of potential revenue with its ticket policy.

Will you offer friends and family discount Blood? I think you would be superb front of house for the BFC shop 😀

Serious note, yep hard to see a commercial reason for not opening. We'd easily make above the outlay on wages for a couple of till staff plus a security bod, not just on tickets but from folks picking up the new kits at this time of year.

I can then only think the other reasons Scara put forward must have something to it; covid, monkey pox or other illness and no cover available - summer holidays have started after all so could be a bit shorter on resources than usual.

To be fair, with his boatrace Bloodster would be more suited to a rear of house / kitchen role in any operation! 😜

But Blackpool tourist board are giving Free tickets away kept that quiet.

Why does a boro fan care ?

Leicester’s away fans was split , they took a good number to derby

I personally didn’t go on , out for a birthday meal and drinks , much more enjoyable than watching a friendly

We have already sold over 3000 tkts for Wigan next week just in case @Gazboro is counting 😆

You're seriously comparing completely free for all younger kids to a giveaway of a small number of tickets, 50 pairs and 50 family tickets spread over a full season, so a tiny number per game....... 🤔

I'm guessing he likes Blackpool, maybe his 2nd team. Also probably like you enjoys this forum?

But I have zero interest in boros attendance’s

Or anyone else’s tbf including yours

I mean I certainly wouldn’t start a thread on Burnley’s page about Blackburn attendances

Each to their own
