A couple were neededIll disciplined or a shit ref?
Disagree that he favoured the home team. Made several shocking calls for both sides.Worst ref all season. Massively favoured the home team. Lost control of the game at times due to poor decisions and tried to stamp his authority with weak bookings. He was even going to send dougall off at one point and then realised he had been booked and didn't bother, poor and cowardly. Obviously I don't want a player sent off, but it's a yellow it's a yellow, stick to your guns, back yourself and do the right thing. He was spineless
Obviously not the firstIll disciplined or a shit ref?
Husband was booked for complaining about one of their players going in recklessly. The ref then booked their player for the challenge. Mentalist. Some were fair enough, others were ridiculous decisions.
The one that really concerned me was Jensen Weir's. Second time this year he's been carded for the new rule about moving the ball or obstructing before a free kick. Whether or not one agrees with it, it's high profile and clear what refs are instructed to do, so it's not really justifiable for it to happen once. Twice is unforgivable, especially as both of them have come in close games where going to 10 could be the difference.
Jimmy Husband's showed how poor the ref was, booked for protesting that one of theirs did the same without punishment. I though the ref did then show theirs a yellow? If he did do that, then he took enough time over it to give the impression he wasn't doing.
Had he showed as quick as he did to Weir then Husband wouldn't have been carded. If he didn't show one at all then there was a huge inconsistency.
He was absolutely shocking. Barnsley fans saying the same thingI thought the ref was ok . He could have given a couple of pens as well as sending Dougall off .
