750 sold for tommorow

My take, Simon Sadler kept the club going with no crowds and no match day revenue for a full season.
If £15 for a friendly against a Prem Club is too much don't go, it's not the end of the world.
What matters is the first home game against Cardiff, will have 10,000 plus and a great atmosphere.
The club aren't beyond criticism, but it seems some people have short memories and can't wait to get the knives out.
Will be great to see the team tonight, put faces to names, watch the game, see ongoing ground improvements and not be shaking my head in shame at a rust covered interior.
We've moved a long way under Sadler in a short space of time, long may it continue.
Post of the day already.....

Personally I hate pre- season friendly games and Burnley are not my favourite team to watch perhaps next year a game against a foreign team would get the juices flowing a bit more

Maybe folk have just paid out £360 for a season ticket and don’t have another spare £20 until pay day to watch a meaningless game?

Constantly being told we should be spending all our money on Blackpool FC by a few on this site is getting a bit old.
It's £15. Amazing how many people on this thread haven't even been to the club's site but, still complain it's £20. They had no intention of going whatever the price was and just an excuse to moan.

It is actually £15 adults £10 concession and £5 for under 18’s. Like Simonized said most moaning haven’t even looked in to buying tickets. Just jumped on here for a moan

I didn’t know whether it was £20, £15 or £1 as you’re right I haven’t looked at the website, and that because I have no interest in going to watch a friendly.

If you go then I hope you have a great time and enjoy the match.

My ‘moan’ isn’t against the club, it’s against being told I’m not an Uber fan because I don’t give Blackpool FC every spare penny I have. I paid for a season ticket that never got used last season.

Fair play to you.⚽👍

I get what you mean. People shouldn’t judge why people do or don’t do/buy something as most of us don’t even know each other or everyone’s situations. What make football so good is we all have different views and opinions. We should take on board what each other say and not always agree but that’s what makes a good debate on here I might think a player is shite but it might be somebody else’s favourite player, that’s football

Absolutely. Been a lot of chat on here over the last 12 months with people telling others what they should be spending their money on.

I don’t confess to being an uber fan and would never tell anyone what to spend their money on, but I don’t buy some of the BS excuses spewed out. If you don’t like them and can’t be arsed then no mither.

Why stress about what others do. If your going to the match enjoy it, if your buying it on tangerine TV or not watching at all. I don’t think we should mind. Knowing we have at least 7500 every home game and in the best position the club has been in for a long time we should be happy and pull together not separate ways.
peace and love guys 😂

Had tickets for the Rangers game, but generally don't bother with friendlies. I'm far too busy tonight after having to work today, but may try the streaming service if I can get everything I need to done before kick off. Looking forward to the season proper.

Many exiles will not travel midweek for a friendly and some people will be on holiday with the kids. Others will still be a bit wary because we still have a proportion of unvaccinated people. And, as others have said, the closure of the ticket office will not have helped for the casual supporter.
Under normal circumstances I would have expected a couple of thousand home fans.
I’m going. 🍊

I think it's counter productive that every time ticket prices come up, anyone who questions it is shot down with comments about whining.

I'm not moaning, I would be going were I not away and I've bought my season ticket and so on and so forth.

I still think that they've not got the pricing right. You can tell me about the rest of the division, tell me about how Sadler has paid and so on and so forth, but I still think the prices aren't right in terms of walk on sales, people who *aren't* dickheads like us that would pay whatever.

They're not a million miles off and they won't put *us* off but I don't think they're on the money so to speak. Pun intended.

They're not disgraceful or disgusting prices, they're not a spectacular rip off, I just think they're a bit too high and if that makes me less of an Uber fan then so be it. Sadler and the board need constructive criticism as well as adulation. They're just people.

Plus some probably waiting for the money back from rangers to pay for this game.

So what are other clubs charging in comparison and what these games cost to put on?
Southport /Carlisle a tenner.
Morecambe 15.
Fleetwood v Leeds 20
Even Squires Gate was 10.

Friendly prices have been a tenner or more for a decade so in real terms not gone up and remember the away team wants paying and there is no cup appearance money to subsidise ticket prices.

Spot on td.

Nobody is right or wrong.

And read my post if your going to slate prices.
But that's the thing. I'm not 'slating' anything. I'm giving an opinion. There's no need to make it into some kind of "us v them" tabloid drama by claiming I'm 'slating" prices.

I think they are a bit too high, especially matchday tickets.

Those that go don't forget to take some vape rub for your necks watching the dingles perfect lumping the ball into orbit every time they are in possession.

Southport was actually £12. So there. I read the post.

wish people would stop moaning about prices ,if you can,t afford to go then dont if you can then go ,everybodys financial situation is different so no point in going on about it,just causes grief and arguments

If you are wanting to attract the masses then the prices are clearly wrong under current circumstances. No amount of holier than thou preaching to the converted on here will change that.

Thing is you can have a look at the players, 6 quid is... OK... but even better the more there are like a family.

It could cost a family of 4, 2 adults and 2 young kids 40 quid for tickets and then add in food and drink probably over 50.

So 6 quid there is a huge saving.
If everyone thought like you the club would be financially bankrupt....I bet you go on holiday and and try to save money...bloody tight arse.

What on earth are you on about, i was at the game you nutter.

I was describing the situation a family might think about.
