As we wait patiently for any of our midfielders to even attempt a shot at goal, Fylde's midfield maestro Nick Haughton heads towards another 25 goal season in the National League. Even without his goals, Haughton pulls the strings like a non-league Charlie Adam. Can you imagine any of ours doing this?

Nick will be 30 in September, so he's too old to make the step up into league football.
He started off at Bolton and has done the non league rounds. He's clearly found his niche at AFCF, under the coaching of Chris Beech.
