A point off fourth

I suppose in the spirit of positivity I shouldn’t bring up everyone around us has a game in hand and Lincoln just above us have 2 games in hand.

So you're happy to scrape into the play offs rather than push for automatic promotion?

Miles off Pompy and Oxford at the moment and even though we're close to the play offs the same could be said for Lincoln, Bristol Rvs, Wycombe and Charlton.

But 9 and 10 points already off the top 2 and that after just 10 games.

Mid table at best this season unless we ditch him. 🐍
Sadler's not going to ditch Critchley ATM no way, I'm prepared to give him more some time. He's not covering himself in glory of late though with some of his bizarre tinkering's, which nobody apart from him can possibly fathom out. I still believe most of us if provided with the correct information about players fitness etc could pick a more balanced team, as for tactics that would require some data & research on our opponents. In a nutshell just play them as close to their correct positions as possible & that does not mean inverted!

but that's not accurate is it? Or are teams above us who have a game in hand not allowed to win that game. Derby win and it'll be 2 points.
It's accurate as it stands, so yes. Are we 4 points off with a game in hand? Yes.

It’ll be more than 4 points come Saturday we’ll get a good thumping down there Appleton sets up to attack we might nick one but we’ll ship about 4

stop wriggling, have a look at the o/p and what he says. It said IF we win our game in hand, so the o/p is basing what he says on that premise and without consideration that Derby have that game in hand too.

And Charlton, Wycombe, Lincoln and others.
He's hoping all those lose their game in hand🤣

Pretty fair comments overall so I'm a touch surprised you are happy to give him more time. It's a pity that in his after-game interviews for TTv he is fed easy questions and not asked to explain some of his team selections/substitutions because us supporters are constantly completely baffled.

I gave Appleton time 😬

Well I for one appreciate the “positive” o/p the morning before the next when I’m up at 4am to catch the 5.05am train from P-L-F to watch TMP🧡

Yep I accept it’s unlikely all the other teams will lose but like the o/p I’m a “glass half full” sort of guy.

Have a great weekend all of you & here’s to 3 points in London, a “tall order” maybe, but….so was Barnsley!!🚌🛳️🍊🧡

Ifs, buts and maybes
Less than a week ago we were going up automatically, two days ago we've no chance of making the playoffs.
After Barnsley, Critchley was forgiven, now he's got to go.
We're probably around the position we'll finish, is my prediction.
Along the way, there'll be renewed belief (only x points below playoffs) and the inevitable pessimism (squad not good enough; he might be well-qualified, but tactically inept)
Let's enjoy the highs and suffer the lows.
We're probably not going down, but the Championship's miles away

I think we will walk into the play offs with this squad once it clicks, if that is sooner rather than later we can go up automatically.

I don’t get the fixation with the job going to ex players..Dobbie is totally unproven as a full time manager…if it doesn’t work out with Critchley and he goes then surely we have to go for a totally new approach and get somebody new at the club..if we’re going to just swap Critch for Dobbie then I will be massively disappointed. For me Critchley has another 4 or 5 games to turn it around and moving us up the table.

I think that we all agree that we have a decent squad, the problem is Critchley for me. Tinkers with a winning team far too much to gain any level of consistency . We won't pull up any trees this season under his management.
