I'm glad Fletch has finally highlighted the reasoning for Sarkic playing up front; this formation doesn't use an out and out number 9, it needs someone to link the play and bring the wide forwards in to the game.

Correct he's got the knowhow to play this role over 50 games as a centre mid in lg 1

Also agree with sarkic. I always thought he was a shorter player but he has more presence than yates to play in the middle.

I said the first time l saw Williams play for us he looked a decent player, playing simple stuff, getting a foot and passing well, he does the dirty job very well.
Decent half that, knocked it around well and pressed non stop. Looked good defensively too
