All Rhodes lead to Huddersfield

But if they do he may go off the boil, also add in against better opposition. If he's only given bit part chances they probably won't get what they want from him and he doesn't have the pace, hild up play or energy to play a 1 up top role as efficiently.

He's settled here and it's working here, not necessarily elsewhere under a different atmosphere, pressure etc.
Of course. But the fans will put pressure on to bring him back, just as our fans would. All hands on deck in a struggle. The likelihood is if he does go back, that his season will peter out, lots of bench time and few goals. It makes sense for him to stay here from a continuation of form POV, but that isn't how the decision is likely to be made. I suspect. But it's possible that an adult conversation will lead to him staying here. He's had about 6 barren years and deserves to have a say in what he does.

Yeah, how much say does a player have is the question.

He might secretly want to go back and try snd prove himself one last time, we don't know.

We don't know. And I'd like it to be his decision. Because every individual should be allowed to choose what they want.

I think his age, the length of time left on his contract and his personal wishes, will have a bearing on whether he goes back.

He's 34 and the most natural goal scorer in my years of watching the Pool. The one he had cleared off the line ( not a goal I know ) proved that for me yesterday. Wide, narrow angle, didn't even look and put it on target. We desperately need him to stay and I hope he wants to.

In all honesty, every Huddersfield fan I know (and I live 8 miles from the ground) aren't clamouring for him to come back. They see him as past his best and not what's required.

Good. He's had a long spell at that level with no success, so they are right. Let's hope the manager doesn't bring him back there out of desperation.

I’ve been a regular at Bloomfield Road since 1971 - and have seen some great goal scorers in my time - but I don’t think I’ve seen anyone as good (relative to our status: Divison 3 in old money) as Jordan. And what a great bloke he seems to be. The shame is it seems pretty clear he’d like to stay - but Udders will want him back just as we would in a similar situation.
Hoping a miracle will happen, otherwise thank you JR for those goals - and all those winning “popular goal scoring markets” profits!
