All those empty seats tonight at Bolton……

As I posted on the other thread.

Bolton vs Luton. Attendance: 10,878 (751 away)

So 10k home fans and some think we should have been getting 10k against a side we played... last season.

Bolton can get more than 20k home fans at times, probably average 19k.

Should they de disappointed? A bit over half their usual amount. Half of our usual amount would be a little bit under 5k btw, 4.7k maybe.

10k home fans isn't bad but I expected more when they took 2300 to Accy in the BSM.

It looked like they closed a stand from the pictures, we probably should have closed the South and bunched everyone together.

And 6,000 more than we can muster !

What’s the matter with people

I’ve been working outdoors last 2 days in -2C so I am not entertaining ‘cold’ (AND will be tomorra
6k? They get double the number of home fans we do.

It wasn't on TV either apparently.

If you work out based on attendances we'd have to get about 5k going to have a similar % of out usual home crowd.

Forest have sold around 2000 tickets, up until Monday we had sold around 5000. I think we'll be looking at an attendance or 9000. Last night's result won't help ticket sales, that is for sure.

Not sure why people are obsessed with crowd numbers, all part of the sideshow. What really matters is how well the team play and the result.
For sideshow interest when we played Forest in the Fa cup January last year, Saturday 3 pm ko, the crowd was 8750.

The weather will put any last minute attendees off. If I didn’t already have mine I wouldn’t be bothering
Absolutely Q Block.
I live in Egerton just on the edge of Belmont and we had quite a bit of snow overnight on Monday and then continued snowing up til about dinner time and then sleet last night.
To give you an idea how bad it was my wife left home at 8am to go to Bury and got there at 10.45 am
A distance of 11 miles.
Typical of this Country I suppose. One downfall of snow and everything grinds to a halt.
