Where is he? Were the rumours true about him wanting away? I can't think of any other reason why he's not getting a game...unless he's injured and I've completely missed it (?)

Rumours are just that! Rumours! Why listen to rumours? He doesn’t want away, Sadly his father has passed away so he has quite rightly been spending time with his family.

As said above, give him as much time as he needs. I’m just glad he doesn’t want away, and look forward to his return.

Wouldn't be surprise if there were rumours he wanted to return to Ireland as his Dad had been ill for some time and probably wanted to be close to him.

Hopefully he’ll soon be back.
He’d be my first name on the team sheet. If we can get Gabriel back our right side would be stronger than ever. Push Lyon’s up to right side of midfield.
It’s just our luck with Gabriel n Joseph long term out plus Lyons sad situation. With those 3 in from the start we’d likely be top 6 now n looking good.

Right-back Andy Lyons is another player making a push to make a return. He hasn't featured since the 3-0 defeat to Lincoln in late August, and has missed the matches against Wigan, Barrow and Wycombe, due to family reasons.
“He’s been training, he came back at the end of last week,” added Critchley.
“He’s missed a period of time, being back at home, it’s again getting him back up to speed and deciding when he’s physically and mentally ready to come back into the squad.

Lyons on one side and Gabriel on the other will make a massive difference when they are both back if Critchley persists with the current system
