Now he's back after the tragic loss of his father surely he needs to go in as right back and sure up that right side.
"Shorely" you mean "shore" up?Now he's back after the tragic loss of his father surely he needs to go in as right back and sure up that right side.
Stop correcting people!"Shorely" you mean "shore" up?
Don’t call me Shorely."Shorely" you mean "shore" up?
No. As it's Lyons he'll need to be sure, to be sure."Shorely" you mean "shore" up?
Something to be said for that, plus he's good in the air.I’d like to see Gabriel compete for that RCB role a bit similar to Kyle Walker. He’s big and has pace although he does need work in defensive positioning.
That would be a real statement if he was RCB and Hubby LCB with their ability to double up on the wings and overload.
Not for me. Would be chaotic. We have better players for the back 3 slots in my opinion.I’d like to see Gabriel compete for that RCB role a bit similar to Kyle Walker. He’s big and has pace although he does need work in defensive positioning.

You are Neil Critchley and I claim my five pounds. Not for me. Would be chaotic.
As long as you are carrying a copy of today's Daily Mirror. You are Neil Critchley and I claim my five pounds.
**** off.You are Neil Critchley and I claim my five pounds.
**** off.
Gabriel is a bit of a headless pullet.
It's the sort of mistake you can make quite easily when you happen to live just a stone's throw from the sea shaw, wouldn't you say?"Shorely" you mean "shore" up?
They are… mid match, upon hearing part of a shout about being in a ‘secret closet’, we had a family discussion as to the phrase being tautologous. We then resumed the normal ‘ref, have you got cataracts?’ Type stuff…pullet header/headless pullet.
I told you wordz are phun
I know its tongue in cheek, but I never expected to see 'Callum Connolly' and 'wing wizardry' mentioned in the same sentence.Lyons has to earn the shirt back. I know there's underlying reasons for his performances but he's not been especially good this year at any point (understandably) and CJ, Thommo and Dale are all currently playing well and contributing when they've played.
I hope Lyons gets his chance and shines but I don't think he's an automatic pick. Certainly if Callum Connolly was still doing his wing wizardry, I'd be screaming for him, but the 3 who are sharing those shirts of late have done well.
I also am not totally sold on Lyons defensively.
Gabriel is also quite good in the air, this could be a possibility.I’d like to see Gabriel compete for that RCB role a bit similar to Kyle Walker. He’s big and has pace although he does need work in defensive positioning.

The formation is playing to our strengths, we have only lost 3 games and we are in the top 6.I’d personally start with Thompson and Lyons as wing backs if we are to play this rubbish system bring hamilton and dale late on. Or just play a formation that plays to our strengths preferably.
Why not move CJ to the left?Lyons should be a cast iron starter but his best position in 5-3-2 is RWB and you can't bench CJ for him. If he does come in it will probably be LWB and I think he would shine there. A curve ball perhaps but could he play as the right centre-back in preference to Pennington ?
Much more effective on the right. If CJ plays on right the defender just has to show him inside. On the left he is a threat both going outside and inside. Why not move CJ to the left?
Eh?Much more effective on the right. If CJ plays on right the defender just has to show him inside. On the left he is a threat both going outside and inside.
Edited now.Eh?
More effective on the right, then you explain why he's better on the left?
