Just an aside. I think it's a shame that they didn't retain the Gay Meadow name for the ground. It's one of those old, traditional names that has some character. As opposed to some here today, gone tomorrow corporate logo...The Toughsheet Stadium for goodness sake. Somebody needs stringing up for that.

Yes. Lines cleared, played on a snow covered pitch with an orange ball.

I remember this well.

Closed up JD Sports in town with the assistant manager as he was also a pool fan and it was dead, headed South in his Vauxhall Nova. Got stuck in snow, arrived at HT with pool already 0-3 up, had to pay full price to watch Shrewsbury win the second half 1-0, and pool the game 1-3! An absolute disaster. Life as a football fan!
