Feel for them to a degree. Their "legacy" fans have been slowly priced out and replaced with day trippers. There's nothing to split the hardcore of most fan bases, it's just some can afford to get to their club's games and some can't.

Dodgy has it right. TBH It's only when the entire ground gets behind a team that it can be earth-shaking. Apathy likewise.

Of all the games I have been to, I only remember 1 other club that has come anywhere near close to Blackpools atmosphere and that was down at Southampton.
