Please please please - NO.
1. He knew EXACTLY what the club was when he joined, and then T’Rovers came sniffing and he was off a lot faster than NC.
2. That lack of decency and moral attitude is more or less exactly the opposite of what Ben Mansford has been saying in the press:-
“We want someone to join us who actually wants to be here” - or words to that effect.
So getting him in is going completely against the Blackpool way - I don’t get it.
3. The football we played under him was absolutely dire. I’ve never seen him touted as being a manager who allows his players to play with an attacking, expansive style. He is a run of the mill manager, who just will not fit here at all. Look at Grayson. Don’t go back!!
4. He has the personality of a wet sock. Although we are pissed at NC (and still don’t understand what happened), he did bring the fans closer to the club, and he bridged that little gap that meant everyone felt connected.
5. This will heavily affect season ticket sales. I will get mine as always, but I’ll kinda wish I hadn’t. If he becomes manager I will do my best to back him but as soon as things go sour, I can see the fans getting restless. He isn’t liked here.
Many more points but I’m tired now.
