Er more like online.Primark have blood on their hands yet again.
My daughter does all her shopping on-line, it drives me crazy.Hate online shopping for clothes as different shops sizes differ vastly. So buy online pay delivery for the item that’s too big send it back pay delivery order a smaller size pay delivery. Crap
My daughter and her mates r the sameMy daughter does all her shopping on-line, it drives me crazy.
She’ll order 5 different outfits for a night out, and send 4 back. Every bloody time!!
How many vans are whizzing around fetching and carrying stuff from and back to supply depots, and how many trucks are delivering to these supply depots and picking up returns! My daughter does all her shopping on-line, it drives me crazy.

Zero hours contracts and using their own vehicles rather than formal transportation companies in a lot of cases. How many vans are whizzing around fetching and carrying stuff from and back to supply depots, and how many trucks are delivering to these supply depots and picking up returns!
Number of jobs that must rely on these supply chains is incredible, so at least your dayghter is doing her bit to keep the economy going Johno!
Though not sure how much the suppliers are making out of all these fetching and carrying and repackaging returns and all those transportation costs!
Yep. But don't forget that people want zero hours contracts...Zero hours contracts and using their own vehicles rather than formal transportation companies in a lot of cases.
Earning more by the hour but no paid holidays, time off for doctors etc etc.Sad thing is smaller retail centres (like Blackpool, Preston) will die a death as the multiple high street stores die off...
Destination shopping like Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds with their Selfridge's, Harvey Nichols and designer stores will remain and probably grow as rents/rates ease and smaller niche retailers enter the market......not many people want to spend £800 on a (real) Moncler jacket off a non descript website as they want to wander around the town with a bag so everyone can see.
Straightners is right....You will never see a GAP sweatshirt and baggy chino's on the 'youff 'of today...it's all JD sports and dodgy man bags.
And those that were shop workers.....they have become delivery drivers and postmen...and are earning more than £8.92 an hour they were on.
And being responsible for an increase in environmental damage that many of them have been lecturing us oldies about. How many vans are whizzing around fetching and carrying stuff from and back to supply depots, and how many trucks are delivering to these supply depots and picking up returns!

At least as more high street shops close, there'll be less people on the pavements and more room for mopeds to collect for deliveroo, uber eats, just eat etc. We can revel in being a nation that only goes out to gorge on food and drink, whilst having other food and drink delivered too us by a desperate person.
What i would say about GAP is that I suspect this decision is also down to changes in fashion tastes. The 'twatty fatty American' look went out a long time ago.
Would that be the bottles of “ fizzy lemonade” they leave all over the place Eagle? And being responsible for an increase in environmental damage that many of them have been lecturing us oldies about.
And their bloody MacburgerKing pizza boxes and God knows what elseWould that be the bottles of “ fizzy lemonade” they leave all over the place Eagle?
Every road junction seems to be the official drop off point for Maccy D boxes near us.And their bloody MacburgerKing pizza boxes and God knows what else
Barbour jackets, Paul&Shark jeans and Adidas Originals...What you now wearing instead then?
Why so merciful? As one of the wokey liberal communist types on here, when I'm the Overlord of The Greater Fylde Socialist Area any fucker caught littering will be immediately hauled up before a firing squad and shot in the face live on TV.
These knobheads shouldn't be allowed access to oxygen.
