Another controversial post (for the gentlemen on here )

25 years for me with wife number 1, yes we have our arguments and the Covid restrictions at times don’t help but cannot ever see us splitting up. Really feel for people who go through the divorce process and from what I have seen it really sucks and at times punishes the innocent half😡
 
Just had my email this morning to apply for my decree absolute from the first marriage, I clicked the link straight away, should be divorced within 3 weeks now. Would possibly do it again, have enjoyed being on my own for the last few years though.
 
Yup. 30 odd years.
We married and divorced twice. We are both passionate and volatile.
Classic case of cant live with cant live without.
 
Married 1st wife in 1956, far too young. had a daughter in 1958. This kept us together, but gradually drifted apart.
Met the current MrsDP at work (Prebonds) and we got together in 1970, married in 1972. She is a keeper. 😀
Because of our daughter we still saw 1st wife and hubby, they married before we did. he died about 8 years ago, and she is very frail.
She often comes for Lunch with daughter and family, she always wants sit next to the current MrsDP. Are they scheming against me?🙄
Also when we go out as a family for Sunday Lunch, she sits next to the current MrsDP.
Fortunately, as the Grandsons were born long after we were married, they see her just as a Grandma.
