Not directed at you, just a general observation.I’m not sure what you mean by “why should you subsidise them. I don’t think I’ve suggested that you should have I ?

Sounds like a plan. Why should away fans pay that much?
It makes us one of the dearest away days in the league for Blackpool in the North of England FFS.
Brilliant tell them we've got a training ground and new stand to pay for then what happens if the prices are recipicated for us?
Pay 24 for Nobbers and Blackburn this season stuff em they charged us 32 so they can have some of the same and we'll find a way round it as they did for the 20 last two home games.
Actually they are subsidising your ST ticket if anything. Missing the point completely I think. But those attending one or two games a season are only spending £32/£64 per season. Why should I subsidise them when I'm spending x5 that?
This has been done death now and no amount of good ideas are going to change things.
Lets move on to thinking about all the reasons why are first signing is sh1t.
PS
I do think £32 is £2 too much but if we made it £30 would it really make that much difference?
And surely that's the way it should be.Actually they are subsidising your ST ticket if anything. Missing the point completely I think.
You just don't get it do you as many why should Blackpool Football Club be one of the dearest to attend clubs in the league?Sounds like a plan.
I'm not actually disrespecting what you say because there really isn't an answer to this that will satisfy the fans (home and away) and the Board of BFC.
It's done and dusted so lets just move on.
I do get it but I also accept that the wise people running the Club have more information about how to run a football club than me particularly in the context of FFP and the depth of the owners pockets. You just don't get it do you as many why should Blackpool Football Club be one of the dearest to attend clubs in the league?
Move on no thanks I'm embarrassed with these new prices I live and breathe our town and with my large customer base regularly try and get folk to attend at 32 no bloody chance.
Which doesn't apply to all. I would suggest that the majority will be in the town and can avoid it with minimal planning.I've included the booking fee.
Some will some won't, I don't know the split. We have a lot of fans who travel in.Which doesn't apply to all. I would suggest that the majority will be in the town and can avoid it with minimal planning.
Most of my pals print at home even though local it's not worth the petrol/public transport cost for 2 quid. Some will some won't, I don't know the split. We have a lot of fans who travel in.
OK then let's sting the home and away fans with match day prices insane.I do get it but I also accept that the wise people running the Club have more information about how to run a football club than me particularly in the context of FFP and the depth of the owners pockets.
Yep have said this, we're relatively successful for now, considering what we've witnessed in the past, we do need years to consistently build on it to gradually grow the fanbase back, attract people back, gain new support.Spot on, now is the time, the place is bouncing and the ground is a bloody great place to be, the good times don't last forever and in the list of crimes committed by the Oystons, losing out on new support during 2009-2012 was one of the worst.
Totally agreeI think match tickets are far too expensive. It's a bit frustrating that some ST holders don't seem to give a toss tbh. I'm alright Jack mentality. I spent about 160 on match tickets last season for myself, I also bought a few for my son, and I spent over 300 on TTV games. So more than you perhaps.
It's not right that people are just saying "this is how it is, so shut up and talk about the transfer market now. I'm happy with the ST prices".
You only have to look at the nobber st price, created a buzz, got people delivering leaflets, spreading the word. You just don't get it do you as many why should Blackpool Football Club be one of the dearest to attend clubs in the league?

I have no problem whatsoever charging away fans whatever the club want .. we're a destination game and we should exploit it.Why should away fans pay that much?

NonsenseNot sure if it’s been mentioned, but one of the main reason for “Empty Seats” this last season, was cheap Season Tickets.
People in the Family Stand, who had taken up offers and then just not bothered to attend, taking up seats that could have been used by other supporters.
So it just goes to show really that if you don’t price a product properly, then people won’t attribute any value to it.
It’s not nonsense at all it proves that these so called Blackpool ‘Supporters’ basically can’t be arsed even when it’s free.Nonsense
We had a whole stand empty at the majority of matches and very little was done to try and sell it to home fans
Apparently to get the discount rate you need to be a member yourself. Non members will pay £30 and, unless they visit the ticket office in advance, an additional £2 fee. I reckon it WILL result in reduced match ticket sales.I'm not sure how many people roll up on the day that don't know somebody else to get the tickets at the discount rate and so don't see us losing out on many new supporters because of this.
Nothing is freeIt’s not nonsense at all it proves that these so called Blackpool ‘Supporters’ basically can’t be arsed even when it’s free.
They might tip up for a big game, but apart from that they can’t be arsed.
The new system is far better and will hopefully attract fans who are actually interested and committed to attending games, instead of just reserving seats.
It’s not been a handful though…. Virtually the entire section has been empty and (despite the cheaper price) it’s always one of the last stands to sell out.Nothing is free
And I'm not sure why you choose to focus on a handful of empty seats that have already been paid for yet ignore a whole stand that could have been used
