Any of our loan players you would sign this season

All definitely, but can't see Arsenal or Everton letting their players go.

I thought Embleton looked Ok at Ipswich. Surprised he didn't get on last night as Virtue tired. Natural winger.

Gabriel is the only one I'd definitely like to sign, he has improved loads but I think he has just signed a new deal with Forest so I doubt that will happen.

Ballard is a really impressive player but he seems to constantly be out, he's barely strung a set of games together it is quite frustrating knowing his talents. For that reason combined with how much he'd cost I don't think it'd be one we should go in for.

Simms/Embleton haven't been here long enough to say, I doubt Everton would be letting him go anytime soon to be honest. If Embleton impresses I'm sure we could pinch him off Sunderland in the summer.

I cannot see Ballard anywhere near Arsenal first team, and Gabriel hardly featured till Xmas both may command a fee but at their age it is probably a fee worth making.
Simms it would depend on Gary Madine situation. Rated by fans though.
Embleton may get him if Sunderland were promoted, but hard to judge. Again fans rate him

I'd have Ballard and Gabriel for sure. The other two, I dunno. Simms I think would need to play with Madine not Yates for us to see the best of him and Embleton, who knows?

Ballards injury problems might make him affordable and available. Gabriel would be a good signing, not sure what sort of money they would want but probably not out of our reach.
Not seen enough of the other two.

Gabriel yes, but not happening because he just signed a contract before his loan until 2024. If we were to sign him, he'd easily cost 500k+.
Ballard yes, signed his first contract with Arsenal in 2018 so that should be up soon, but doubt Arsenal would let him with the way he's progressed.
Simms yes, but again, don't think Everton will just let him go.

As much as I'd love to, I can't see us getting any of them back on a permanent over the Summer.

From what I saw of Simms last night I would say he is lazy and doesn’t put enough of a shift in...
Difficulty for Simms is that he is alongside the human dynamo in Yates, who has amazing endurance and fitness levels.
That said, I think Simms could be a very effective target man - he is big and wins headers but can also finish too and is not a lumbering slow target man to boot.
He will have to work on his fitness levels if he wants to get to Yates level, but if he can even get to 90% of our Jerry he would be an interesting signing.

Simms has been very good for us so far and is probably unlucky not to have scored more.

Makes smart runs, has good link up play, can hold the ball up well. Is a great combination between Yates and Madine.

Think the peak of his career will be an upper Championship striker to lower Premier League caliber impact sub.

If Everton offered him to us for a fair price this Summer we'd be foolish to not push the boat for him.

Wouldn't have Ballard with his injury record and squad numbers being reduced next season or has that been thrown out with the salary cap?

All three of them without hesitation.

Simms has huge potential and a natural goalscorer at his previous level. For a tall lad he seems happy to run with the ball from deep and his first touch to get away is eyecatching aswell. The comment last night was how he wasnt holding it up well but I see him wanting to turn and break. He will learn under Critch to try and match Jerry for workrate the more he sees it in games and training.

Ballard.Strong, good in the air, reads danger well, comfortable on the ball.Yes please would be a brilliant signing for our team and he is the best centre back at the club.

Gabriel is impressing me at the moment the way he is getting forwards and if anybody could work with him to improve him defensively aswell its Critch.

Do you really think Ballard has a future at Arsenal?

We definitely need a second right footed CB to challenge Marv. Ballard can challenge Grettarsen for the left side, but we have no cover on the right side. I agree that Gabriel has come on leaps and bounds with a decent run in the side. When he first came he used to go down on the deck too easily. Too early to judge the other 2

Ballard Is a right sided CH who has been covering on the left.

I stand corrected. I do believe that players should play on their 'natural side' though. If we sign Ballard it would mean that we need cover for Grettarsen if Thorniley goes

Ballard is a right unit isn't he - didn't realise until today.
Doubt very much if he'd come unless we got a sneaky promotion?

Ancelotti said in an interview he never even heard of the Everton lad
