Any other Football manager players here?

As there were people quoting football manager stats before, I'm currently 3 seasons into a Blackpool save, 1st season lost in play offs, second season up automatically in second, and yes I smashed the nobbers in the championship at dumpdale.

6th season and I am 8th in the Premier League. I've been successful by not playing a shit 3-5-2 formation. Took me 4 season to get to the PL. Relegated season after but back now with a much stronger squad.

I lost Lavery to some Saudi Arabian outfit for 30 odd million.
 
League 1 title and a record 110 points in my first season along with the BSM Trophy and an FA Cup QF.
But now everyone wants contracts I can’t afford and it’ll be a start over in the Championship as CJ, Lyons and Lavery will be off. Have resigned Weir on a freebie though so that’s decent business 👍

Shame he wasn’t half the player in real life he’s been for me in FM !!!

Some tips and best players who helped me go up the leagues... Joseph, Lavery, Carey, Norburn, Lyons, Gabriel, Grimshaw and Ekpiteta. CJ, Dale and Thompson were ok as well. So pretty much whole squad. On mine, Lyons went to Everton and Carey went to Sheff Utd for 35m.

In my second season I got Bowler on loan. He was good.

In my sixth season and Ernie (forget this surname) has bought the club for 500m and floated on stock exchange. Sadler was always looking to sell. Stadium increase to 20,000.

I've had Lyons leave due to wanting a big contract, Grimshaw left to bench warm at Leeds in the prem as he wanted to test himself at a higher level, used the Lyons money to bring Fankaty Dabo in, also still have Weir.
 
League One promotion in the first season with 103 points, and won the EFL Trophy in a final vs Bolton, but also finished the season with -£750k in the bank. I even sent Rhodes back to Huddersfield in the January window to try to balance the books! Played on throughout the summer, couldn't make any significant signings due to budget constraints. My transfer budget for a Championship season was set at £100k. Haven't played since :D
 
I have the 2009/10 version of the game.

Amusingly, it allows you to edit the player's stats, so I was able to turn GTF into a footballing god (well, even more of a footballing god to be exact).

It also turns out that, in the game, the chairman was a total c*** and sold him to Inter without asking me.

Any similarity to real persons is purely coincidental.
 
I used to start with two teams Blackpool and Chelsea then sign all blackpools crap players for millions to the Chelsea manager, they introduced some checks after that to stop ridiculous price sales, was fun while it lasted and gave me a great transfer kitty.
