The owner has a lot to thank Frankie Dettori for
There’s 140 solar panels on the roof, reckon it’s self sufficient, yeah rightWouldn't want the heating bill.
Maybe the rooms are that far apart you need to stop for a piss….Let me get this right. 4 bedrooms and 9 bathrooms? Suitable for a wealthy incontinent?
£10 million has nothing to with it£10 million to live in fricking Lytham is madness.
Is it even in Lytham?£10 million to live in fricking Lytham is madness.
The last one I saw that said Lytham was on Division lane and just outside the official Blackpool boundary, like right on the edge. Still FY4 so still Blackpool address but 'Lytham' according to the gazette. Is it even in Lytham?
Just read it, Ansdell. Is it even in Lytham?
You’re right, Islay Rd is officially Ansdell but to all intent and purpose it’s Lytham.Just read it, Ansdell.
I think it last sold for a million and a few years earlier 800k, take into account demolition, steel framework, build and fittings. Read somewhere the steelwork cost 2 to 3 million, took three years to build. I dont see it selling for 10 but you never know.Building plots where that one is on Islay Road cost millions, but I'm not impressed by the featured house. There's only three things certain in life: death, taxes, and flat roofs leaking.
I had a paper round down there, anyway, it was never Lytham until they started trying to flog Cypress Point and put Lytham in the address, it's almost in St Annes if anything. You’re right, Islay Rd is officially Ansdell but to all intent and purpose it’s Lytham.
They do the same with Over Wyre by calling it Poulton when selling houses just because its a FY6 postcode.I had a paper round down there, anyway, it was never Lytham until they started trying to flog Cypress Point and put Lytham in the address, it's almost in St Annes if anything.
The boundary between Lytham and St Annes runs down the middle of North Houses Lane and Smithy Lane . So officially in Lytham, just .I had a paper round down there, anyway, it was never Lytham until they started trying to flog Cypress Point and put Lytham in the address, it's almost in St Annes if anything.

Pay me £10m and I'll live anywhere.£10 million to live in fricking Lytham is madness.
Remember in the 80's boom house on Elgin Place (Grange) stated as leafy Layton. They do the same with Over Wyre by calling it Poulton when selling houses just because its a FY6 postcode.
Ansdell is Lytham though. That's the address- Ansdell, Lytham same with Saltcoats. Fairhaven is St Annes. It's still Ansdell.
Nah, it's never been Ansdell, Lytham. It's just Ansdell, Fairhaven isn't St Annes either. Neither were part of Lytham Hall.Ansdell is Lytham though. That's the address- Ansdell, Lytham same with Saltcoats. Fairhaven is St Annes.
Islay Rd is about 400m (maybe less) from the actual Lytham Hall. I would imagine Islay Rd was within the original Lytham Hall boundary, as was a lot of Ansdell.
On the house, I think I'd want a view for £10m.
I'm pretty confident if you asked every person that lives on Islay Rd where they live they will reply "Lytham" pal.Nah, it's never been Ansdell, Lytham. It's just Ansdell, Fairhaven isn't St Annes either. Neither were part of Lytham Hall.
It's sometimes 'Lytham St Annes' for postal reasons but obviously St Annes isn't as attractive an address these days.
There's no way any old school local is going to class Islay Rd as Lytham.
It is more like "Tea Leafy" (slang for thief for anyone wondering)Remember in the 80's boom house on Elgin Place (Grange) stated as leafy Layton.
Well maybe not leafy
They'd be wrong though.I'm pretty confident if you asked every person that lives on Islay Rd where they live they will reply "Lytham" pal.
