Didn't we sign their winger afterwards? Russell?Head back to 1996 when we lost at home to Hednesford Town under Meson in the FA Cup. That was the day Megson lost the fans and I don't think he ever won us back. Wonder how much of a pitfall the FA Cup could be for Critchley with so many 'minnion' teams?
yep, we did. Thought he was more of a full back though.Didn't we sign their winger afterwards? Russell?
Maybe, or maybe that's where we play wingersyep, we did. Thought he was more of a full back though.
Megson never had the fans support, the club had a giant hangover from the previous season and made a lousy start to the next. Yes we did pick up and just missed the play offs but Megson was never the right fit for BFC.Head back to 1996 when we lost at home to Hednesford Town under Meson in the FA Cup. They weren't, aren't and never will be....Megson never had the fans support, the club had a giant hangover from the previous season and made a lousy start to the next. Yes we did pick up and just missed the play offs but Megson was never the right fit for BFC.
Stockport are a bigger club than Blackpool was his parting shot.
That's the one. Just remembered KeithHeadband?
Also wore green boots. Think he had a blinder against us so we signed him. That's the one. Just remembered Keith

That is exactly my recollection. I remember going, remember losing and that's it!!I remember losing but nothing about the game apart from a feeling I went. Memory wiped

I'm sure there are too many (than I would care to mention) out there who could, rather painfully, oblige with refreshing your memory, bill40. I have to admit (through clenched teeth) I was there to witness what was - and still remains - the absolute nadir for any follower of BFC, although strangely, and for whatever reason, I don't recall being unduly troubled by the result. I was just signed off sick from work for the six months that followed ...I have tried to reactivate this memory in my brain index but it just says file erased. I don't know what anyone is talking about.
Yes remember it but remember Horden away more !Head back to 1996 when we lost at home to Hednesford Town under Meson in the FA Cup.
