Applaud at full time but leave before the fist pumps

There is clearly a divide about Critchley and I'm probably straddling the wall as sometimes I think it's better the devil you know and others I think it ain't working and was never going to.
However, let's go and support the lads and let's celebrate if we get a win but the fist pump was a result of a promotion, if we get 3 points today we're still a long way off and I'd think Critch will have the nouse to applaud the fans and leave.

If he does the fist pumps we’ve won so for that reason I hope he gets to do them. Not that I plan staying back to watch.

I don’t think there’s much of a divide I think most want him out it’s only a small minority that still support him the atmosphere is getting very similar to when Appleton left in hindsight we’d of been much better sticking with him

You’re right, the vast majority on AVFTT want him out, but I’m not sure that applies to the rest of our fans.
I’ll always support the manager whoever it is until they leave, sacked or otherwise.
He‘s not my favourite person at the moment after 3 poor away results, but I’ll always support him while he’s still in post.
My emotions run high after a poor display but I’m ok after a few days, and look forward to us performing better in the next match.

Do you really think we will be performing better in the next few matches? I feel like we’re going backwards teams have sussed us out we’re too easy to play against and the atmosphere is turning toxic

Maybe you’re right but Critchley is going nowhere so we should get behind him and the team.
Mind you, ask me at 5:00pm tonight 😂

The fist pump and especially the love heart hand singles are far too cringe. Save the fist pumps for when we manage to win away from home or once the league positioning improves

Must admit I couldn’t watch the fist pump
Too cringey
Save it for when we are in a play off place as a minimum
Agree, it all appears a bit needy and contrived. I would rather he led the team or one of the players over and let them take the plaudits especially Jordan Rhodes if that was his last game.

It wasn't his last game.

Why would we not want to celebrate a win
There is celebrating and then there is just being plain cringeworthy. After the last two performances, no one should be encouraging Critchley to fist pump. That said, I don't blame Critchley if he is being encouraged. He'd get more shit if he didn't do it.

Exactly he'd get crucified if he didn't do the fist pump even by those who hate it.

North didn’t seem to clear to me? There was a big gathering for the pumps and also similar in the West.

I hope he does it every week. That’d mean we are winning and on our way back to towards the playoffs

A lot left and said why
I was one of them
Don’t see it’s appropriate when we are under-performing
If others want to lap it up that's fine

Teams sussed us out back in July/August of last year. The only problem, as I see it, concerns the fact Critch just can't see it, hence his failure to put a contingency plan (or 'plan B') in place. Either that, or he is simply incapable of devising an alternative approach.

Most fans can't be happy with a 2-0 win, when Critchley didn't even have a Plan B
I mean.....when was he going to bring in Plan B....we all know Plan B wins the game
Even I had a Plan b when I managed the Under 9 B team.....

Let the manager and players celebrate wins FFS, that’s what we all do this for. Seen some lad on Twitter saying CJ had the audacity to celebrate his goal - what do you want him to do?! He’s just sealed the game!
FFS what was he thinking, celebrating a goal he won all by himself. Disgraceful.

P.s. was it @Simonized ?

It’s always been cringeworthy but today it was embarrassing
Perhaps fans are beginning to tire a little of the same old routine, and so players should therefore consider adopting a slightly different approach. Rather than the 'fist pump', why not go for what could be referred to as the 'petrol pump'? So, just to add another, slightly different angle to the old established routine, as part of the time-honoured celebration of securing all three points, why not go through the carefully choreographed, staged routine of looking as though you're topping your car up with petrol at your local filling station, by brandishing the imaginary filling nozzle - as if it was a pistol - with a slight 'flourish', and then going through the supposed routine of re-enserting it back into its 'holster', which would be strategically strapped firmly in place around whichever thigh you are most comfortable with.

With gun crime being something of a topic for debate at present, I can understand how this proposal would have to be considered very carefully indeed. However, if the authorities were to oversee, and administer, the requisite changes with due diligence, care and attention, I think the proposals outlined here could add a whole new dimension to the matchday experience.

If you’re a Blackpool fan and you can’t even enjoy a hard fought 2-0 home win - you’re going to spend a hell of a lot of time miserable
