His best players are regularly on the bench. He’s tactically clueless. Only brings subs on when we’re up against it. Sorry Simon, but stick with him and we’ve had it.
He was the wrong choice in bloody August.I told you that in October
I got slated for suggesting it also in OctoberI told you that in October
I was very happy to give him a second chance with the signings over the last couple of weeks, and was quite hopeful he would turn it around, especially after the Forest game last week. But today has been utterly woeful once again. Brings in all these attacking players and I can't think of one chance we've created. The whole gameplan has been to lump it long to an isolated Madine. It's just utterly inept tactics. Lineup wasn't what anyone wanted nor expected, I mean how can you not play Lyons after last week, or even Yates up top after his contribution after coming on. And the subs came far too late (straight after they scored to be exact), he's reactive rather than pro-active.
We're going down unless we make a change before the Huddersfield game, I truly believe that now.

Pay him a bonus if he keeps us up dealWe need someone with backbone. An Allardyce type figure.
What money ?Money spent is wasted while Appleton is here. Could have spent to support a decent replacement.
Because he is an Arrogant tool who thinks he is right.A couple of weeks ago, I posted my first negative comment about MA saying that he's not the guy to get us out of trouble.
Now my second. Why is he seemingly the only one who can't see opposition midfielders walking through our weak midfield pairing of Patino and Carey?
Why is he the only one who can't see when the set up isn't working and subs are urgently needed.
Watford did it, we didn't
I get it that he's been restricted in his formations by injuries, but not changing things early enough when the formation isn't working is costing us time and again.
Sorry to have to say it, but he's got to go if we're to have any chance at all. I really hope the management team have someone lined up, but I'm not holding my breath.
I'm so sad and disappointed tonight, but I feel more for the 1300 plus who travelled.
Should have took the game to them today and attacked - Yates and Lavery looked sharp , as they have done in the last games, but they warm the bench . Finally get a right back at last !!! Oh , he can warm the bench as well , but our prolific goal scoring captain fantastic can start !!I try and be positive, I try and look on the bright side but there is no bright side right now. We deservedly lost to a Watford side that's absolutely riddled with injuries. He's not even playing our best goalkeeper ffs. I'm done with him, he's got to go unfortunately though I can't see Mansford sacking his mate. So depressing.
I just makes you wonder what it will take, for him to get sacked? His best players are regularly on the bench. He’s tactically clueless. Only brings subs on when we’re up against it. Sorry Simon, but stick with him and we’ve had it.
Hopefully today's performanceI just makes you wonder what it will take, for him to get sacked?
Agree with what you say, apart from the last paragraph. He needs to be nowhere near Bloomers next SaturdayI've given him the benefit of the doubt, he was unlucky with injuries I don't think the suspensions can be put down to bad luck, and this sometimes forced his hand. Square pegs had to be played in round holes but that isn't the case now.
He has all the pegs he needs but he has made a framework where he continues to bang square ones into round holes.
Connolly isn't a right back, Lyons is so play him.
Patino and Carey to young and inexperience to play as the 2 in the middle, play Dougall or Trybull alongside one of them.
Madine is slow and static, not suited to the lone striker role, play Yates who would be better but not ideal.
If he doesn't make the best of the available squad against Huddersfield then he has to go, he has been given longer than most coaches on the back of so many bad performances and results.
Yeah I'm probably being too patient!!Agree with what you say, apart from the last paragraph. He needs to be nowhere near Bloomers next Saturday
