Appleton could end up being our best manager for decades

'Give him what he wants'???
Living in a dream world, which 'lower league manager gets 'what he wants'?
Look around at some of the new managers, they make their names by building a team with what can be afforded.
If Appleton is so good, why can't he do that?
 
He's Coming Home!!!........Something tells me that either Phil has got a little brother who has a very similar outlook.......and writing style......
Or somebody may just have history of having a second (comedy) account

P.S...Managers live or die by results on the pitch....That's what they are employed to do......Nothing else...They work with what they have
I believe we fully support the Manager, until those results mean we need someone new to improve them.....
I think Mr Appleton has a few games to show he can do that....

My point exactly, and my opinion is he will👍🏻on current form we’ve narrowly lost to Wigan away with ten men for most of the game and then got a draw against a decent Birmingham side, hardly cause for a meltdown is it.

Let's reword that - we've got 1 point out of a possible 6 against two of the worst teams in the league, and 1 point in our last 5. Yes, I'd say that is objectively cause for a meltdown 👍

It takes time to build a team certainly not something that can be achieved in a few months. Far to many players, under contract meant offloading on loan before we could buy/loan ourselves.
Next summer is the key and we will see if he can build a team then,and yes I think we will still be in the Championship at that point

So how often should these meltdowns occur then? It’s only half a dozen or so games ago that we got six points out of six against two of the better teams in the league
 
I’m beginning to wonder if Blackpool fans actuality support Blackpool, all I see on here is negativity left right and centre. It really is bad, I don’t actually believe any other club is so anti manager, take last weeks opponents, they appointed a new manager the same time as we did, six in front of us at midway which is fuck all, yet they love him, it’s weird it really is and folk wonder why we get shit crowds 🙁

We were light years ahead of Birmingham last season, we stuffed them 6-1 and it could have been many more. They looked superior to us last saturday. Perhaps that's why they "Love" their new manager and we don't "Love" ours.

We were 16th they were 20th hardly light years , two awful teams to be fair over the course , I would be willing to bet my house that we will finish16th or above this season 👍🏻

We fell away when there was nothing to play for at the end of the season. We were speaking with Birmingham fans watching the England game and they were asking what had gone wrong, they said we looked promotion material last season though admitting they were shit but they reckoned they should have won 2 or 3 nil this time.

Well we certainly look relegation material this season. I hope you're right with your blind faith. I want Pool to win every game and I didn't join in with the sacked in the morning chants at Wigan but I can only see us going down if we don't make a change sooner rather than later.

I'm not sure what people expect

We have had an awful injury record and haven't been able to play the same side twice

Add in the blow of losing our best player and failing to really improve our squad in the summer

And you get what you get

Where as Critchley had plenty of opportunities to play a winning side twice, kept refusing to do so which resulted in losses 🙁
