It's the good guys with likeable personalities who get shafted in football. This is really shocking, he must have been let down by the board or the fans have forced him out.
Good luck next time
He's American. Look who they want as President againAre you a flat earther?
I know, some want Biden, mad. He's American. Look who they want as President again
Apologies just saw this .
Interviews spectacularly well. Goes downhill after that
That’s because we somehow managed to make an even worse managerial appointment. He did with us and let's be honest it didn't actually get any better once he was sacked did it ?
Pretty sure it was Mansford who wanted him and handily had his number already. The decisions being made by the club were all over the place. Critchley leaving really threw a spanner in the works and instead of dealing with it they managed to make a total balls up of it. It wasn't his fault they employed him, that rests squarely on Sadler's shoulders and then they didn't support him with the players he needed for his system and no fucker other than Sadler wanted him as our manager so I would say he had a really rough deal and we paid the price because, as you say, he should have been potted earlier, and certainly not replaced with McCarthy.
If we end the season well and get in the play offs then he will have admonished himself a bit, if we go up he will be lauded. if we end the season with a whimper then the spotlight will be on Sadler's ability to pick a manager. I have a feeling the manager and players are up for it and the supporters need to be too and as they say take each game as it comes.
And I don’t doubt he’ll be back in management sooner than we think. He must be the 'Title Holder' for 'most dismissed Manager' in the country.
It's his career job, 'Ex Manager'.
Probably made a good living out of it.
You've forgotten,Hendry, McDonald, Clark, and McCarthynot even close . . . Riga! Ince!

Awaits @Phil_bfc deux telling us he's had a rough deal...
Why would I say that I have no idea how Charlton have been playing except when they played us
Those who went to Wigan made it pretty clear he needed to go, both in the ground and online. This lad read it spot on and it's a pity our fans and board didn't get it after the Wigan game when we should have been demanding him gone.
McCarthy was far worse than Appleton with a much better group of players to choose from
I went and I have to leave a few minutes early due to being unsteady on my feet and its better than waiting until everyone has gone so I missed that bitThose who went to Wigan made it pretty clear he needed to go, both in the ground and online.
'Sacked in the morning' was ringing from the stands and I was amazed it didn't happen. Seemed obvious we weren't going to improve.I went and I have to leave a few minutes early due to being unsteady on my feet and its better than waiting until everyone has gone so I missed that bit
I think he does a very good job of influencing people above him - particularly club boards with vacant manager positions! He is missing a key skill in making friends and influencing people above and below you. Kind of crap if you are a football manager I think! He has plenty of self belief and probably knows his football.
