For me that was one of the worst performances of the season… but I can’t blame Appleton, he picked the same team I would of picked (I would of maybe played Bridcutt)

The players gave absolutely nothing tonight and it’s just not good enough, days away from our biggest home game and that’s the performance they give…

Bridcutt is such a key signing he can’t play two games in a week so he was rested tonight. That is the shambles we have become.

I've been critical of Appleton, some of tonight's blame is at his door but not as much as at the players. The whole tempo was slow, it felt like a reserves game, even when trailing. We were passive, sloppy and 2nd best in every department. Saturday has to be the polar opposite, if we return to the slow, passive, crap again the atmosphere will be toxic. I'm hoping there is a huge reaction.

It's about results in this business and Appleton isn't getting them. His managerial record isn't great, but he can talk a good job that's for sure. This is a relegation scrap that will go all the way to the end.

That was such a lazy, can't be arsed performance. The team picked should have been good enough as Hull themselves were pretty poor but they looked like they just couldn't be arsed playing and it was a friendly lazy game. Fcuking sh1t

Most of to ight’s blame goes to the Pratt in black at Sheffield U

Madine ran himself silly probably to another groin strain, Jerry didn't stop again, same with Doug's, Connolly Patino, thorniley. Thought Williams was ok, garbutt wasn't great but it was his first game this season and you could tell, but got his challenges in and was up and down the flank. Wright was pretty anonymous, but had a couple of decent moments.
The first goal is how we have been caught out a few times this year. Opposition put a man directly on maxi and block him off, that's a training ground fix. We were in my opinion badly set up for this game. Midfield was too lightweight letting hull get on the front foot, and the issues with Theo not pressing from the front and not able to bring other players in often enough is now or should be understood.

The issue is most of the players tossed it off.

Hence the reason why you aren't the manager and neither should he. 🤣🤣

The only people to blame are those who decided to sell off our best player on the cheap, on the last day of the transfer window with no replacement. It was already looking like the league was going to much tougher to survive this season.

This decision is what is going to have us playing in League One next season.
Maybe SS wouldn't mind us relegated as he can't afford for us to compete in this division.

Maybe the same team as most (other than Bridcutt) but dont think many if any would have had Dougal & Wright playing further forward than Yates ,, Very odd formation players seemed lost & confused as to who was meant to be doing what

Dont mind losing if the players give there all and fight for each other and show a bit of passion, looks like they were all strangers ,so god knows what they do on the traing pich,it cant be much because they dont seem to be able to find each other even simple passes,or they are all colour blind and can,t see the tangerine shirts

Would love to know how that is rubbish.
Why can't he play two games in a week?

Who actually told you that? Do you have some inside information or did you just make that up?
Or are you just repeating well used phrases from a book named 'Well used phrases in football".

If a professional footballer can't play two games in a week...and by the way, he was brought off on Saturday on 75 mins, then he should be ashamed.
All he has to do all day every day is train, run around, go to the gym and then get fed the best food whilst being well looked after like a gladiator or some such other demi god, so that he can do his job.
Being a footballer is his job. If he can't do it for 50% of the time then he might as well be a plumber or check out girl.

Appleton said that he couldn’t. 33 year old free transfer playing the odd game and then relying on players who look as though they belong in a boy band. Yes I’m only jealous but what a shambles. Can’t believe some think we will survive. You don’t survive with that level of shitnes. Bowler was our only good attacking player.
