You'd be a bit pissed off if you were a Tranmere fan knowing he can't play for another week and they are away at Barrow on Saturday.

Just seen highlights of the Tranmere v Notts County game. Rob was pretty damned good and in the clips moved forward with ball at every opp creating chances. Just what we need.

Just watched an interview with Nigel Adkins and he basically said that he hasn't ruled out getting Apter back this window, but that if it does happen then it will be in the last couple of days. Sounds like we are seeing how the window goes and if Apter will get any game time with us before we make a decision on if send him back out on loan.

Tranmere want him for the season, that's fairly obvious. We don't know what we want because we're not saying, and rightly so.
We either want him now, to figure in the first team, or we don't. If the club think he's ready and see a good regular role for him then pick him and get on with it, as soon as he's eligible. If we don't then sort another loan and let him go back.
I can't believe that we're going through this process without a definite plan already in place, one way or the other. If we're just waiting to see what else the tide brings in during January then we're not being fair to him.
He's either ready now or he needs more development time, he should be playing in January somewhere. Why cost him a month's match sharpness in limbo?

Heard the club want him to sign a new deal before letting him go back to Tranmere on loan.
He doesn't want to sign at the moment as he isn't convinced his future lies with us. The lad wants to play football and he doesn't seem to be getting the opportunity with us for whatever reason
