To Tranmere on loan until jan
Why’s it a joke?Absolute joke
He should be getting game time here. CJ right wing back again tomorrow zzzzWhy’s it a joke?
He was never going to get enough game time here this season and that’s what young players need.
Neither him or CJ should be anywhere near our starting 11 IMO.He should be getting game time here. CJ right wing back again tomorrow zzzz
He was already at a league one club. I think you mean he should be at a league one club with ambition.Great move for him.
You have to wonder, if he’s as amazing as everybody says he is, why a league one club didn’t come in for him.
If we have a recall clause which I suspect we haveIt’s actually a great move for him. A win win. If he goes and plays regular football and performs to a high standard, we can recall him in Jan and put him straight into the side. He gets the game time& we get back a more experienced player ready to go into the team.
Critchley is well known for giving young players a chance, as long as it’s another clubs young players.Lets be honest Critch was never going to start him so from his own career perspective its a good move.
Good luck Rob.
I've done my best trying to persuade fans you have talent.
No. What I’m saying is. If Apter was ready for League One, he wouldn’t have gone to a mid table League 2 team. It’s quite simple. He was already at a league one club. I think you mean he should be at a league one club with ambition.
Did he do that well? Seem to remember them getting hammered most weeks. I know it’s a team game but let’s have it rightGreat move. He’s done well for a relegated conference side. He’s not getting game time here, and even he got what we all think he deserves, it won’t be as much work experience as he is now going to get at Tranmere. He then does well in a L2 side and is ready for the next step up.
See post#18No. What I’m saying is. If Apter was ready for League One, he wouldn’t have gone to a mid table League 2 team. It’s quite simple.
I’m not sure you’re grasping what I’m saying. Even if Critchley didn’t want him, why hasn’t another League One club OR a top League 2 club come in for him?See post#18
I understand very clearly what you’re saying. I understood just as clearly what Sadler said about developing our own talent. He also said on the initial appointment of Critchley about his credentials on developing young players. Apparently both philosophy’s have been abandoned, just like the other commitment to reinvest profits made on players into the playing squad.I’m not sure you’re grasping what I’m saying. Suppose it doesn’t fit the narrative does it
Right. But we’re talking specifically about Apter. He’s gone to League 2. So if he was ready to develop in League One, Why hasn’t another League One club taken him?I understand very clearly what you’re saying. He obviously wanted out. Probably similar to Cole Palmer at City.
Because generally you don’t loan players out to a team in the same division.Right. But we’re talking specifically about Apter. He’s gone to League 2. So if he was ready to develop in League One, Why hasn’t another League One club taken him?
So why has he gone to Tranmere, 4th bottom, and not Wrexham/Salford/Notts/Stockport?Because generally you don’t loan players out to a team in the same division.
Not sure what you are trying to say to be honest. It’s a chance of some proper first team football at a good level. So why has he gone to Tranmere, 4th bottom, and not Wrexham/Salford/Notts/Stockport?
Oh because he’s from there. I see. Not because none of the others wanted him.
I know I’m going back a long time, why did Newcastle release Shearer? Why did Scunthorpe tell Keegan he was to small? Why didn’t a league one club take Apter? Perhaps we didn’t want him to go to a rival, I really don’t know. So stop asking me the same question when you know I don’t have a definitive answer.Right. But we’re talking specifically about Apter. He’s gone to League 2. So if he was ready to develop in League One, Why hasn’t another League One club taken him?
The answer is that clubs want proof that the player can play at their level, so for L1 clubs either PL2 experience or a spell in L2, half a season in NL and some Central League games don't give him that.No. What I’m saying is. If Apter was ready for League One, he wouldn’t have gone to a mid table League 2 team. It’s quite simple.
Yeah I agree. I think it’s great. I’m frustrated with the implosion on here and Twitter. The Sadler out brigade because Rob Apter has gone. I’ve actually seen one fan suggesting tomorrow could ‘spill over’.Not sure what you are trying to say to be honest. It’s a chance of some proper first team football at a good level.
Critchley sent out on loan until further noticeGreat move for him, I really hope he smashes it and makes the Head Coach look a bit daft for letting him go.
Because he was 36 and retired.why did Newcastle release Shearer?
They sold him to Liverpool for a hefty fee.Why did Scunthorpe tell Keegan he was to small?
Shearer wasn’t 36 in 1986. Actually I didn’t word it correctly I said they released him when I meant rejected him. My mistake.Because he was 36 and retired.
They sold him to Liverpool for a hefty fee.
