Arthur Lee & Love. Forever changes.

If you like that try a Liverpol artist called Michael Head. Formally the frontman in 80s band The Pale Fountains, then fronted the band Shack in the 90s. Currently releasing albums as Michael Head and The Red Elastic Band.

In the early 90s him and his brother toured with Athur Lee as part of his band at that time.

Cheers potts, just looked him up on spotify and had a quick listen. The first song was called 'picasso' which had a feel of JJ Cale to me, who I am a big fan of.

Will definitely been investigating a lot more.

The set is on bbc4 tomorrow at 10pm.

Never knew they did this at Glastonbury but won't be missing a set of one of the greatest albums made.

Thanks for this. Got to know this album in 1978... and still a favourite. It’s one of those albums where every track from first to last flows through in perfect order... and has to be listened to in its whole.

For the kids... if there are any reading... it’s the perfect album for romance.

One of my favourite albums and got to agree with Archibald. It gets played from start to finish every time.

Classic first line to Live and let live
"Oh, the snot has caked against my pants
It has turned into crystal"

They don't write them like that any more

Really enjoyed that. Lee had a great band around him. Almost note perfect, but with some extemporisation. I don’t know why I missed it first time, but that’s 17 years ago. Awesome seminal stuff. Shame we will never see him again.
