Atmosphere up there today with all our best games this season

Been great all season but it does help when some of the opposition fans are occupied in the north side of the scratching side.
Yep, i agree the atmosphere is better with a big away crowd, part of which fills the uncovered area of the North East. Although today I found it a bit weird when the Birmingham fans started slagging off their side after going 2-0 down. Blackburn joined in the "we're f' ING shit" song earlier in the season, but the Brummies were something else today.

Yep, almost all of the away end joined in!🤣. They're a reet moody bunch!

You’re only winning 2-0…you must be shit was a good one

"It's only 2-0, how shit must you be, it's only 2-0!"

"We're gonna win 5-4"

"Bowyer out"

"Boo, boo, boo!"

"Lee out!"

They really weren't happy losing to "poxy Blackpool." You should read the comments on their official Facebook page. Most are complaining about the players, manager, chairman etc. But the amount complaining that they shouldn't be losing to us. 🤷 We've beaten far better than that shower of shit this season!

Did the North sing “ it’s your big day out and you’ve let in six” or something like that…. 😂

I wasn't going to bother today but yesterday the book "How not to run a football club" landed on my door step. I couldn't put it down and have almost finished it. I woke up with my love for Blackpool FC bolstered even more after realising we are in a good place, a happy place. A passionate fan base, a carnival atmosphere no matter what. I'm so happy I went today. UTMP!

It can't help them, surely. 2 down early doors and your own supporters are chanting about how shit you are isn't exactly going to inspire you to feats of herculean performance...

By the 2nd half a number of their players were clearly fed up with them. Deeney had a go at them when the series of smoke bombs came on and Lyle Taylor had to be physically restrained by a steward and Maxwell from chasing down a pitch invader near the end.

Toxic.

6-1 on your big day out
Yes enjoyed that. We need more witty chants and retorts too, in response to the usual shithole chant and a few nobber chants for eg.

Be great to have a ready made comeback for the tangerine tangerine Crackwhore chant for eg.

Thought the atmosphere was loud at times but there's been louder this season for me.

Yesterday's match must now rate as the best atmosphere this season.

Obviously it would have been even better if the team had put on a better performance, but it was still the best atmosphere this season, I reckon.

yep, comfortably. Been good all season, but yesterday was another notch up.

Said on the match day thread.
Birmingham, shit
Derby, champagne

Derby's support was fantastic today and I don't think it would have faltered if they had been beaten

Yep considering nothing to play for and the crap performance it was decent. Imagine if the team gave us something as well.

They were good and have embraced the situation and are using it as them against the world. Always on a hiding to nothing when they have nothing to lose and backs against the walls against bad owners.

It was good banter back and fourth until we gave it away so cheaply.

However when we were on top second half at the start they were quiet and had we scored and actually made something of our play our support would have gone up another gear. They still would have been singing and partying as it doesn't change anything, but it was so poor from us, kind of ruined the latter part of the 2nd half as we wanted to win to finish above PNE, or at least not lose in a poor fashion.

I've said before, considering some of the football we witness at times like today, with a lot of misplaced passes, going backwards from attacking positions, long balls and poor in the final 3rd, its remarkable the atmospheres are so good.

Imagine if we had some attacking style like under Ollie. The place would be absolutely bouncing every week.

Thats the goal next season, improve the quality and the atmospheres only get better.

Don't forget also that away fans get the low roof east, if the north stand was in that stand we'd sound even louder.

I was sat fairly central in the West on Saturday and when the North turned it up a notch, they were quite a lot louder than Derby, but Blackpool Fans were nowhere near at their best for the most part and understandably so, given the result.

Yeah as said somewhere else when amongst it sometimes its harder to judge.

But yes there's been better atmospheres from us this season with something to play for and when things go our way.

Derby were there for the party regardless, which is a great effort, 4k mostly boozed up fans in a low roof stand. Its good we can even compete with that never mind be louder at times in a nothing game.

There's been some top atmospheres this season, pne obviously, QPR etc, but I seem to remember at the end of Blackburn at home, backs to the wall getting the players over the line and the Neil Critchleys tangerine army chant being shouted by everyone in the stadium and Blackburn fans in the north part just stood looking at the north, in awe id say, even just for a bit....

Still lots we can improve it with too, we've only just really go the front rows back, didn't have then for the bigger games, also a block or 2 of the East with pool fans would help. Also if the team has more quality and for eg comes from a goal behind to win, always makes it bouncing.

I'd like to see a few more witty retorts to things like the pne chant about queen's etc. When you have a ready made reply chant it just shuts people up.
