Fotmob and BBC sport have it as 4395 ???? Anyone know what it was. It looked quiet on TV ( I have Covid, so have been staring at the TV for 9 days now ).
Give it a restAppleton has totally sucked the life out of the crowd. Whatever the bad luck with injuries etc, he is just so dour, negative and grumpy. The place is a shadow of what it was earlier in the season. He's just not the right fit for Blackpool, never was.
It's just how it is though, the atmosphere has gone. We need enthusiasm and umph... He has none of eitherGive it a rest
Blades brought 3,400.Near bottom of the league, straight after Christmas, game on Sky, didnāt think it was bad considering, probably about right with us having 8-9k. Blades brought 4k.
True though.Give it a rest
Folk are entitled to an opinion regardless of how you feel. He is only saying it as he, and others, see it.Give it a rest
too cold for the old ones ,and too ** late thanks to bastard sky again,The West looked especially sparce...
Fickle fans.
You know that for a fact? The harsh reality is that if the club sacked Appleton right now, there be 2000+ extra bums on seats on Sunday - perhaps even more.
Why fickle, you pays your money, you takes your choice, as they say. The majority in the west are of the older variety. On a very cold night, late kick off, very little chance of anything out of the game, who can blame them? We went as usual, but I wouldnāt take issue with anyone who didnāt.The West looked especially sparce...
Fickle fans.
Itās absolutely a fact. Supporters will give whoever comes in next, be it Dobbie as caretaker or a new man in a permanent role, their full support. The doom and gloom is washed away and for even just 1 game thereās optimism. Unlike Thursday the ST holders who stayed away would be almost all be back. You know that for a fact?
None of the realistic candidates to replace him would inspire me.
Attendances given include all season ticket holders whether in attendance or not is my understandingTo actually answer the original question the attendance was given as 13,395
Even the ex-mushrooms are bored rigidThe West looked especially sparce...
Fickle fans.
And the one that most of the fans wanted was Rosenior....lolI'm not saying you should appoint a manager just to appeal to supporters but if you appoint one that clearly the fan base didn't want then it was always going to come to this . You reap what you sow and the crowds and atmosphere will suffer. It's the most important role at the club that everyone gets behind and Appletons got zero charisma. Did I mention he's already cheated on us once ? I guarantee whenever he does leave he'll slag this place to high heaven. It was never a relationship to be rekindled and a massive mistake .
Blades claimed to have sold 3600, but brought less.Near bottom of the league, straight after Christmas, game on Sky, didnāt think it was bad considering, probably about right with us having 8-9k. Blades brought 4k.
Time will tell if he's any good at Hull but your giving him a lol way too early. And the one that most of the fans wanted was Rosenior....lol
Yeah, the fans know best
I know that . That's why I said that was the attendance given . There was probably 3,000 less actually there .Attendances given include all season ticket holders whether in attendance or not is my understanding
Well I'm 68 and still giving it large in the north, where I've always been. No excuse unless you are ill or infirm. Why fickle, you pays your money, you takes your choice, as they say. Iām 80 and in the west and attend every home game, barring illness, and occasional aways. But if I didnāt want to go I wouldnāt, and I donāt need an excuse apart from I donāt want to go. Nobodyās business only mine.Well I'm 68 and still giving it large in the north, where I've always been. No excuse unless you are ill or infirm.
He won't be making much out of the pies if he keeps serving up that shoite!Sadler wont be happy, not much revenue generated there. He's finding it tougher than he thought. Crowds wont be any better any time soon.
Well it clearly wasn't so stop peddling this nonsense.According to the Football League Paper the attendance was 4,395.
You are never an ex mushroom. It's a life sentence. Happy New YearEven the ex-mushrooms are bored rigid
Thank youTo actually answer the original question the attendance was given as 13,395
No there wouldn'tThe harsh reality is that if the club sacked Appleton right now, there be 2000+ extra bums on seats on Sunday - perhaps even more.
The fans themselves have not helped ,turning on the manager rather then supporting the team. You can go to watch Blackpool and not like the manager . The fans that have chanted against him , abused him on line and just made life awkward for other fans to get on and support then shame on them. They are the ones that make me ashamed .Appleton has totally sucked the life out of the crowd. Whatever the bad luck with injuries etc, he is just so dour, negative and grumpy. Well we now know what type of fan you are then. I imagine you would be one of those Uber fans with a gammon face shouting āsupport the teamā and āget behind the managerā into other fans faces when we are losing and then when those same fans cheer when a goal goes in youāll be there moaning about āfickle fans that donāt deserve to have team to supportā and how weāve got the worst āwanker fansā in football etc etc.The fans themselves have not helped ,turning on the manager rather then supporting the team. Yes there would. Easy this.No there wouldn't
