Ball Boys/Girls at BR

My friends son is now 11 and he loves football and has just converted from the dark side of Man Utd to watching Blackpool and his Dad has asked me to find out who you contact to become a ball boy/girl. Before I go scouring the net for a contact, this place seems to be the oracle - anyone know?

The ball boys currently are Academy players.
I get the feeling that Covid has ruled out using ball boys/girls currently.

I think they decided using academy players was a sensible option and that it gave the academy players the opportunity to get a unique view of their pro counterparts. A lot of big clubs do it and they ask the academy lads to focus on the area of pitch they’re assigned too which is usually of relevance to their particular position.
GK’s tend to be behind the goal, RB’s at RB etc. Good education opportunity for the academy kids although it does take away from the chance for local kids to enjoy the opportunity too (I was a ballboy many years ago !)
